thanks jayzrdead, by integrity do you mean in a practical/performance sense? If so it is foremost a visual rework but there are other bball shoes out there with prodominantly flywire uppers/side panels.

Hey no worries misterj and that's cool if you're not feeling it. It wasn't my intention to make a better shoe, there has however been a lot of mixed feedback on how the shoe looks and I had some ideas on taking it somewhere else visually so it seemed fitting to share them here.

Here's some more... white/varsity royal cool greys I'm neither here nor there on the big jumpman on the originals, but incase anyone is curious to see what these would look like with it still featured on the upper...

Thankyou, yeah the visual parallels of the sole between the 2012 and the XI was something I noticed. It got me thinking to the IX - XII era of which the simplicity and sleak lines were certainly kept in mind when I did this.

 Thanks! I'm not sure if the purpose of the original leather panelling is beyond visual, it might serve some protection for the flywire, but then they're putting out the 2012 Lite which has an all flywire upper. I've kept the brogue style holes from the leather toe piece and transfered them...

hope this isn't off topic but as a lot of people still aren't feeling these I had some ideas for a rework kinda like a SE or something. bit more of a flywire upper like the lites but tried to do something else with the brogueing. More pics/colors in my thread in the sneaker art forum...
