That's mad disrespectful to other Knicks players, especially OG.
"Nothing" happens without him? That OG block on Fox doesn't happen without him?
But you're definitely right that if Brunson doesn't miss that 3-pointer for OG to tip it in, then OG wouldn't have made that game winner and looked...
Man, I've been watching some of these analysts talk about Finals MVP and they're talking about how Brunson is FMVP, and how OG is currently some kind of an underdog for the award. And how Brunson would have to have an off game and OG would have to go off for the balance to tip in OG's favor...
It's cool that they're making this and all, but the Knicks still have to finish the job first.
OG shouldn't even be autographing these until they win the series.
Kobe and Dominique mainly played against Pippen at the book-ends of his career.
And Grant cooked both Pippen and Jordan. Can't think of another player who crossed both of them over this clean:
Reminder: Tatum choked hard in the 2022 finals and was pocketed by Andrew Wiggins. whereas Brown had a decent series.
And Jaylen Brown won eastern conference finals as well as Finals MVP over Tatum in 2024. Both rightfully so.
Also, Brown is only a year older and has not suffered a...
A resposnse to the "Pippen got cooked" disrespect title - This is what happened after the game 1 loss of the 1991 Finals where Jordan guarded Magic, and a Pippen-based defensive adjustement effectively kicked off the Bulls' championship run:
If Free Palestine is like KKK, then it's odd that Jerry isn't a Free Palestine supporter considering he went on Letterman in support KKKramer after he was filmed during a blatant racist tirade.
I'm not going to adress the Warriors injury situation or how the Sixers never made it past the 2nd round before or since, but "he" beat them? Did you not see the part of my post about how the Raptors had a 17-5 record in the league without Kawhi? Not to mention how the Raptors had a 53-19 record...
I always laugh whenever people mention how Kawhi's 2019 playoff run is one of the greatest ever because of how he carried the Raptors to a title. Dude missed 22 games that season and the Raptors were 17-5 in those games. Not saying that they would've won the title without him or anything, but...
This needs to be made into an autographed basketball card from one of the sets that commemorates iconic moments...
Assuming the Knicks can finish them off, of course.
Players/coaches and fans of teams that lost generally overuse phrases like "They didn't beat us, we beat ourselves".
But in this series, the Spurs really handed game 4 to the Knicks. As well as game 2, at least by allowing themselves lose in regulation.
In one way I feel as good about them...
