+1 thats why i didnt mind paying a high price for Calypos.  Retail is high, shipping is high, US dollar is weak and someone has to be paid for getting the shoes, boxing it and posting it.......

my shipping came out to be over $50 as well from Australia i was told that it is possible to ship for cheaper but theres no tracking on it.  it really depends if you wanna risk your package getting lost or not........

I just had a look at the Hype DC website and the Calypsos are not even listed anymore. i guess theyre all sold out

Kicks Crew is $24 postage for the 1st pair and $12 extra for any additional pairs so its definitely worth ordering at least 2 pairs at a time

as far as the calypsos and mangos go, theyre expensive but they way i see it, its still a helluva lot cheaper then buying a plane ticket to Japan or Australia and buying and pair for retail and not feeling raped  

its only rape if you dont know its coming lol i paid $640 for South Beaches 8s which is a 300% markup too.  it is what it is. every single shoe is marked up these days

id pull the trigger on those mangos but the size 11 is gone i think while the mangos(and calypsos) are certainly expensive i dont consider them r*pe prices. at the end of the day, theyre exclusive colourways released in other countries probably in limited quantities that are probably sold out...

yeah i was thinkign about pulling the trigger on a size 11 Calypso on ebay but now theyre all gone :-( only a size 12 left now. seems like Australia is out of stock now too.........

Roshes cost $100 in Australia plus postage is $50-60 so your not gonna find them for $150.  plus you have to consider the Aussie dollar is stronger then the US
