Great Divide is solid. Definitely worth drinking through the lineup for sure...all the Yeti variants are super good, Colette is great, I enjoy the Hoss Rye Lager...
They've got two taprooms a few minutes across town from me, and I've been to 'em maybe a couple times in 3 1/2 years.
I enjoy...
One of the best liquor stores around here posted that their distributor delivered their allotment of Bourbon County along with several 2015 cases.
Only thing is the 2015s are all the infected recall bottles. So keep an eye out on those "cellared" BCBS bottles, y'all.
Hell yeah...Weldwerks is freaking incredible. They're making my favorite beers in all of Colorado right now (Juicy Bits, Fruity Bits, Achromatic series, their Goses)...so good. Believe the hype y'all.
Tomorrow is Zwanze Day...anyone hitting up your local one?
Denver's is at Crooked Stave's Barrel Cellar aka brewery. The wait is as much fun as the Zwanze tapping itself...the most epic bottle share every year.
Gonna be an insane, early day of drinking crazy rare stuff, especially sours and...
100% agreed. Avoid USPS at all costs. I have family members who have sent beer through them with no issues, but I don't recommend it. It's technically a federal offense if you get caught somehow.
I always go FedEx because they almost never ask what's inside. And if they do, just say collectible...
So, yesterday was my 40th birthday. And some of my awesome co-workers decided to get me something very special since they know how much I love beer.
Yep...40 40s.
The good thing is I have the receipts and will be able to exchange all of them. Get some solid choices and have a happy hour for...
Here ya go...this should keep ya busy. Hit me up with any questions you might have.

Oh yeah...that was Select #1, aka Crooked Stave's first ever "clean" beer. It blew my mind when I had it...those guys are so solid in everything they do. Super nice crew from the taproom to the owner, Chad. Super chill and they take really good care of me and my wife whenever we roll in.
I'm...
Nice! Our beer scene is ridiculous...and the east coast/New England-style IPAs are making some headway here. Joyride, Fiction, Odd 13 & Weldwerks are leading that charge quite nicely.
And yeah, the RiNo section of Denver is packed with amazing beer. Ratio & Crooked Stave are two of absolute...
Colorado has well over 200 breweries, with most every big-name brewery having distribution here too (except guys like Brooklyn, Allagash and a couple other heavyweights). That said, the local breweries are killing it...taprooms packed, increasing shelf presence, etc.
I hardly ever drink...
Cascade is PHENOMENAL. Their stuff is world class all around.
That said, I don't drink as much of it as I would like because it's crazy expensive. Most 750s are well above 20 bucks, with many pushing $40.
Tank 7 is an absolute gem. I've never had one that hasn't been sheer perfection. And that's not just my Kansas City pride talking.
If you like that, seek out a bottle of Boulevard's Saison-Brett. It's an amped-up take on the Tank 7 recipe dosed with Brettanomyces. So funky, so effervescent, so...
I love cream ales.
Love the nice, crisp, super drinkability. And that they're so clean - you can't have a single imperfection because there's nowhere to hide them.
First part of the Philly trip (Saturday, Sunday, Monday AM) was good. Made it to Tired Hands Saturday night...it was great. Went with the Pina Colada Milkshake, Permashore, Dystopian Forest, Alien Baphomet & Throbbing Grisette. All were really, really good.
And thanks for the offer, but our...
