We're there this coming Saturday & Sunday. Then back next Saturday.
I've seen the can releases on random days on Instagram. If they happen to have some hanging around, cool. If not, I'm not sweating it. If I can drink a bunch on tap and maybe take a growler back to share at the in-laws if we...
All that Tired Hands!
Gonna be in Philly for a few days starting on Saturday. Haven't been for a couple years...excited to get back to Tired Hands, especially the new Fermentaria.
I hate to be a jerk, but Golden Monkey is far from an IPA. It's a Tripel. If you like Victory's stuff, try Hop Devil, DirtWolf, Vital IPA or Agave IPA with Grapefruit...
I'll leave the rest alone.
Crooked Stave just released Select #1 in their taproom only...their first ever "clean" (AKA no Brett) beer. And it's a glorious, super hazy, juicy, New England-style oatmeal IPA.
And dammit, AB just bought another brewery...Italy's Birra Del Borgo. Too bad. Their beers were great. And I'd guess...
Had to get up and get in line for this one this morning.
Exclusive collab between Casey Brewing & Blending (the most sought-after brewery in Colorado and one of the top in the world) and Mile High Wine & Spirits in Lakewood, Co.
Blackberry Honey aka Casey East Bank honey ale refermented in...
Most recent pickups from the last few weeks.
TRVE bottle release pickups first up (four bottles of the Prairie collab brewed at TRVE - barrel-fermented & aged peach Gose & CVLT II allotment [oak-fermented saison with Earl Grey, Earl Grey with rose petals and Assam teas])...
Then yesterday's...
Big news today if you haven't seen it...Oskar Blues/Fireman Capital Partners bought Cigar City.

Basically saved them from selling out to AB-InBev. Definitely a good thing.
Saw La Cumbre was available here a couple weeks back...stoked to get some but just haven't dropped in a liquor store as of late.
But did stop by TRVE today to pick up our CVLT membership drop for this quarter (saison brewed with earl grey, earl grey with rose petals and Assam teas)...and their...
Who's going to Extreme Beer Fest this weekend? Even though giving money to the Alstroms isn't the brightest idea.
But if you are, get there early and get some TRVE Brewing. They've brought some of their rarest stuff to pour.
I've been to a couple...there's one a block or so from my place.
I dig it...it's got a great selection of taps and bottles/cans, but 99% of the time I just go straight to a brewery instead.
Lugene is really, really good. Definitely pick up at least a single or find it on tap at the least.
And now on to today's pickup. In December, to celebrate the Kansas City Royals' first World Series win in 30 years, Boulevard Brewing Co. (from K.C.) released Crown Town Ale.
But it was only...
Nice! A friend of mine is the one who worked with Jolly Pumpkin to blend/create that one. Had it on draft and at GABF...it's phenomenal.
She's saving me a bottle for the next time I make it back home to Kansas City, since bottles never made it to Colorado somehow.
Ten Fidy is maybe my favorite stout. The 10.5% ABV is crazy well hidden...just super smooth all around.
Nice pickup on the Black Ops too. Have only had 1 oz samples at GABF, but it was crazy good.
It's too bad that's associated with the Alstrom brothers, but there's some solid choices in that lineup.
Make sure to hit up TRVE Brewing's booth (out of Denver)...their stuff is on point. Seriously great beer.
