This is exactly what I was thinking about, with other brands(Nike, etc.), UK12=US13, but with NB, UK12=US12.5, UK12.5=US13. It says it right on the box.
Someone above said they were having QC problems with the perf. suede option as well, and it was taken down until the issue is resolved. That or it sold out...
New Balance 1550. A blend of elements from the 1500 and 1600. More info here: http://www.cncpts.com/blog/2015/06/new-balance-debuts-the-1550-silhouette/
Well I think these are clean If only they were American-made! What are your guys thoughts?
I remember staying up for the Concrete Jungle release, and they were available on J Crew's mobile site before the desktop site. And this was around midnight or so, I think I bought them at 12:14?
After all this talk of mismatched mesh I actually checked my 998s and...yup, the mesh is aligned perpendicularly to the shoe, just like it's supposed to be. When I'm looking at the mismatched pairs posted here however, it looks almost intentional! It could've just been one person in the factory...
New Balance customs are made in Boston/Maine (I forget where, it depends on the model) so there's no hassle with shipping overseas and miscommunication. Gotta love domestic manufacturing
Holy **** this made my day roll with it man, I love how sarcastic it is!
If all NB 998 customs look like this, there's gonna be a problem if NB doesn't offer size 13 again...I'm gonna need 4-5 pairs. I actually wolf whistled at these.
So along with that 580 that was floating around the other day, Bait is apparently releasing these 710s as well. More pics here: http://sneakernews.com/2015/06/08/bait-and-new-balance-bring-g-i-joe-to-life-with-upcoming-collaboration/
Any thoughts? I think these are just, awful.
*Sigh* I figured as much, but we'll see I guess. I can see Concepts pulling something like that though, given their reputation for being d*ickish haha
Definitely need to see better pics of these, but unless they're US/UK manufactured, I can't see myself buying them.
They put up size 13 as a MISTAKE? That's total horse****. I know I'll be politely but strongly addressing this in an email/tweet to their customer service.
