Have any of you guys gone to a release like this? I'm in the city and was thinking of stopping by. Do you really need to line up at 10 am when the store isn't open until 1?
Does anyone know of any sites that have the Center HI in the Knicks home colorway? I'm having trouble finding them for a decent price and the Ewing site sold out of size 13 in about twenty minutes.
"Look like the Hi 33 Black leathers are done."
There's a pair on eBay now, but the price is pretty steep. Seems like the four initial colorways go for the most money in sizes 12 and 13. Outside of the Ewing website restocks, I haven't seen them go for under $200 for a while now.
There's some serious price gouging that goes on with sneakers. I'm not a cheapskate, and I understand scarcity and collectibility, but there's no way that a pair of cheaply-made basketball shoes that was probably manufactured in a sweatshop is worth some of the crazy prices that they go for.
I've been looking around for the grape shirt from 2006 that had the fighter plane on it that the shoe was based on. Anyone have any idea where or if I could still find one?
I wish I could find something even close to that- the lowest I've been able to find is around $340. I'd pay it if it was worth it, but that seems like gouging.
How are you guys doing so well on eBay? I'll put in a best offer for used kicks that seems pretty reasonable- $200 for worn black grapes with a Buy it Now of $230, for instance, and the seller will either immediately decline it, or come back with something like $225. I've almost never gotten a...
I have a brand-new, completely deadstock pair of the 33 Hi in the Knicks colorway, size 12. Apparently this is a tough size and color to find for a reasonable price. If anyone's interested, let me know.
