Not even close, the new sole change the design of the Flightposite, leather on Foam is just material. You can compare to the suede Foamposite, which was way worse than the leather eyestays

I started to buy foams in 2014, so yeah I’m new compare to others here. In general, I only like solid colors on foam (Royal, MRed, Copper, Eggplant, Pewter…). I prefer the 2017 (because of the nubuck) but I’ll cop this one. The leather don’t bother me that much and the shade of red is better...

No, the finish on the red is very different between the 2012 and the 2017. He spoke about the 2012. The new one is more like the 2017 finish, but for what’ve seen on the 2023, the 2017 is more like a cherry/bloody red.

For me, leather on Foamposite 1 isn’t a big deal except on Royals. But I can understand, I wouldn’t buy a Jordan 13 Altitude from 2010 either 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Not that easy, Ive seen plenty of fakes on ig from collectors, I think they didn’t even know. Take a look at the pictures on Goat for the 2017 Metallic Red, I can guarantee you the pair on the pictures is 100% fake.

Even with that leather, still an automatic cop. My biggest regret was selling the 2017 Metallic Red, wanted to rebuy but too many fakes on StockX and Goat
