I just hate it because CBC isn't clear, I don't know what happened to Channel Surfing.

Heat 2 won by Brendan Christian (ANT) in 20.81, Charles Clark (USA) also advanced.
Heat 3 won by Steve Mullings (JAM) in 20.62
Heat 4 won by Marlon Devonish (GBR) in 20.92, Guliev (AZE) in 2nd with 21.02...watch out for Guliev only 19 and a PB of20.04 World Junior Champ.

Heat 5 won by Usain Bolt (JAM) 20.71
Heat 6 won by Alonzo Edward (PAN) in 20.72
Heat 7 won by Martial Mbandjock (FRA) in 20.65 (this was the heat that Tyson Gay was suppose to be in)
Heat 8 won by Jared Connaughton (CAN) in 20.82
Heat 9 won by Robert Hering (GER) in 20.64, Wallace Spearmon (USA) finished 2nd in 20.66, Gary Smellie (CAN) 3rd

Damn 3 Canadians into Round 2 of the 200 which is later this Afternoon (Evening in Berlin)

A lot of guys that competed in the Men's 100 withdrew from the 200 including Tyson Gay, Dwain Chambers and Churandy Martina.

Heat 1 won by Robert Tobin (GBR) in 45.51, Lionel Larry (USA) didn't look good he's Kerron Clement'sreplacement in the 400m.
Heat 2 won by Renny Quow (TRI) in 45.21
Heat 3 won by Chris Brown (BAH) in 45.53
Heat 4 won by LeShawn Merritt (USA) in 45. 23...Alvin Harrsion formerly of the USA (remember him?

) now theDominican Republic finished last in 46.67.

Heat 5 won by Ramone Miller (BAH) in 45.00, Gil Robetrs (USA) in 6th 46.81?!....WTH isn't this event dominated bythe USA in which all 3-4 guys make the Finals?

Heat 6 won by Jeremy Warriner (USA) in 45.54
Heat 7 won by Tabarie Henry (ISV) in 45.21, Sean Wroe (AUS) 2nd in 45.31 and NT'sfavourite during the Beijing Games Marytn Rooney (GBR) 3rd in 45.45....and he shook hands after ??!?!?

From what I see 3 USA, 3 AUS, 3 GBR, 3 JAM and 3 BAH all made Round 2.

- Women's Javelin Final
- Women's 400m Final
- Men's 400m Hurdles Final
- Men's 3000m Steeplechase Final

Those last 3 will be the main entertaining finals IMO.

Also Women's 400m Hurdles Semi's, Men's 200 Round 2 (Usain Bolt) & the start of the most open event in whichno one knows who will because the lineup is so deep the Women's 100m Hurdles Round 1.

Good question, he isn't on the World team guess he's in hiding after the Beijing dissapointment. His injury was pretty serious though, Men's 200mRound 2 is about to start.

They just asked Michael Johnson on BBC if he was running against Usain when he was compeating would he be able to beat him.

Without hesitation he said yes not everytime but he was never pushed enough during his career n feels Bolt woulda pushed him to his best.

I love Usain but to me nuthin beats the way Michael Johnson ran dude was a machine
