Since we are back on the topic of matching. A while back we were talking about wearing Js with Adidas tees or track jackets. I dont' condone that, but I think that it is OK to wear adidas tees or track jackets with Timbs or Polo boots.

And that's fine. Non sports brand with sports brands is fine. It's just Nike x Adidas or Reebok that I don't do.

I wouldn't be caught dead in some Js with an adidas tee or track jacket, or reeboks and jordan tee, etc. I will rock a track jacket or nike tee or adidas tee with some boots tho. (not Nike boots)

If you copped a large package of chicken breast for the week and a bunch of broccoli, it could come out cheaper than eating Mcdonalds every day. We are over that discussion tho and I'm already guilty of derailing this thread too many times.

so it sounds like to some, it's just an issue of it being a pippen jersey with J's (his right hand man for his entire bulls career basically), not the colors... and to others, it's the colors... so blue & black shoes don't go with a red & black shirt / jersey? those colors don't work well and makes you a "dork"? you would need to have red in the shoes to match the shirt / jersey perfectly, no other color will work? word?

and if you don't directly match the shoes to the exact color of the shirt / jersey, you look like a bum who couldn't afford the matching fitted and matching watch and matching everything?

so blue and red don't go together... and your jersey / shirt has to perfectly match your shoes...

for the record, i thought that don c fit was turrible, a great example of non matching gone wrong... as was the big sean fit also turrible, that kith jacket is mega ugly, and way too matchy matchy with the shoes...

It's corny IMO to rock black/red bulls jersey with black/red 1's. Too matchy. He would have been cool with a White/Red CW of the 2's up.​

Personally I would have gone with the Aquas . . . jerseys are tricky because on one hand, you don't wanna look like you doing too much and trying too hard to not match, but then again you don't wanna look like a walk-on for the Bulls.​

i don't think it's corny, and i'd prolly do it, especially if i was celebrating MJ's bday or something... but i don't see anything wrong with royal 1's, or any color J's that still goes well with the jersey.. other colors go nice with a black & red jersey (not direct match but still match and coordinate well)... there's certainly nothing wrong with royal blue and varsity red together... it doesn't have to be a direct match... the direct match is fine, but it's also obvious, easy, and uncreative...

some very closed minded people around here, imo...

as far as the player's jersey, i'd say anyone from jordan's bulls squad gets a pass with a pair of J's, even if they have their own shoe...
