i didnt mean likes he going to be in foot races but for somebody that's already in his 30s, that won't be cheap so the money arsenal would spend on him would take away from money spent on the back line, I don't see him playing in a advanced role for arsenal, again at his age where's all this energy and quickness going to come from, idk I don't see the vision, I just see him heading to Italy

If it were me managing RM and I had complete security as president I’d probably not even get him. I’d just play the long game and pay MDL enough to forget about Barca.
But reality is different. If I’m in Zidane’s shoes, I didn’t come back early to a desperate RM in shambles to rebuild. I’m back to win and spend da bag that I helped RM acquire in the first place. As much as I don’t want to overpay for the individual player, I really can see why Zizou wants him. He seems like he can be the missing piece.
Assuming we get rid of Bale’s wage, I’m cool with 150 including Mino’s fee, and a paycut for Pogz so our wage structure isn’t disrupted. In normal circumstances I wouldn’t be ok with this but we’re desperate and have money saved, and Mbappe isn’t happening this summer and probably not next one either.
