Excuse me while I raise expectations to top 3 already this year...

Was thinking about this the other day. We’ve played nothing but 4-2-3-1 this preseason, if we get Bruno and Dybala I would rather Ole switch to a diamond than shunt Dybala out wide. Think he’s committed to 4-2-3-1 though.

On amazon prime there’s a new series called This is Football.

Chronicles different stories of the beautiful game. one episode is Frankfurt winning the cup last season. another is Iceland’s journey into the Euros and the World Cup recently and the first episode is about the Rwandan Reds, a Fanclub of Liverpool in Rwanda.

To get the best out of Dybala, I think he’s perfect at the top of the diamond as a false 9. And Bruno does enough defensive and creative work to be perfect alongside Pogba.

At the end of the day tho, Dybala on the right of the 4-2-3-1 can work if we allow him fluidity to move and swap with Rashford/Bruno. OGS has been a Dybala admirer for awhile and will make sure the team works for him to get the best out of him imo

It is what it is for the time being. I think Matic can still be useful at times and McSauce will rotate in at the 6, hopefully even take over the role by the end of the year. If Scott can become a top 6, that will help United so much long-term as well.

Looks like Wolves snatched up a Portuguese duo from Lazio. Idk anything about them. Think they came from Braga?

I'd rather have Koulibaly over Maguire... I feel like they overpaid

So would I but from "reports", Napoli wasn't going to sell unless it was a crazy amount of money. It's a crazy amount of money to spend on slabhead, but transfer fees in general are crazy. Let's just hope that he pans out and does well. I'll be pulling for him

I feel comfortable with the McGuire transfer because you already know that he’s proven in the prem.

Will he ever become the best defender in the league? Not sure.

Maguire is a good signing, just not for almost 100M. He's really worth about 45 but that English tax is real.

VVD set a crazy *** standard for CB's and now everyone is gonna be looking for the next VVD.

Problem is, you're probably gonna have to get him while he's young and watch him make hella mistakes and hope he improves.

There were better CB's on the market that United could've gotten for a cheaper price.

Premier League clubs are rich and the world knows it. Even clubs like LCFC don't really have to sell to make a profit.

Rumor is DDG is going to reup his deal before the window closes and we’re looking to work out a bumper deal with Pogba over the next year. If both happen, that’s as good as any new signings.

I disagree there were better options for cheaper. Militao already went to Real, Skriniar/Romagnoli/Koulibaly/etc weren’t available, MDL chose Juve over us, and the rest of the candidates (the Ruben Dias/Diop/Milenkovic/etc tier) are still prospects and are not better than Slabhead right now. They may be in the future, but United didn’t need a prospect CB - we needed someone ready to lead the line from day one. And with Maguire, that’s exactly what we got. I don’t disagree with £80M being extremely steep, but it was still the best possible move for the team right now imo.

Harry getting us back in CL next year will be many millions alone. Putting that in perspective, it really helps to justify the price imo.

Taken with a grain of salt, AS has the other Pogba brother moving to Madrid along with mom, one of them already joined a Madrid based club

As probably lying tho
