Also gunna look at Lopetegui. During the water break he should have instructed Asensio to help in the midfield and track back more. Dude gave nothing on either end.

Asensio needs to be subbed. Either for Vinicius or for Mariano and drop Benz to an Isco role since we all know he’s more of a 10 than a 9

Thank god we're through to the next round, not that it should've ever gotten to penalties in the first place.
Isaac Success was a beast for Watford, easily MOTM.
Hopefully Aurier is alright, him having to limp off the field and down the tunnel leaving us down with 10 men must have been something serious.
Should've done more to block the second goal but he wasn't at fault for being the only one left close enough to try and do so. He made a fantastic block earlier in the match that saved us from what looked like a certain goal and his crosses were good, just bad finishing on the end of it.

What makes this more annoying is we took a risk resting a bunch of starters last match to be fresh for Sevilla, and the match was over in 30 minutes
