I dont disagree, but you field the best players if they fit in position, imo. France's outside defenders are their only liabilities, so I understand Deschamps wanting to play defensively and rely on a few world class players to score, but their offensive potential cant be understated. Against Belgium or Brazil you'll have to outgun them, not try to stop them.

So Juve has offered CR7 the same wages as RM. And he still wants out. This makes me think it’s only a matter of time. I wouldn’t mind this as much if we had gotten one of Mbappe or Neymar last summer.

Idk if you’ve noticed, but most of us in this thread have been enjoying the World Cup and the talent on display, regardless of club affiliation. I’ve actually enjoyed being able to watch RM players outside of the club, since it has no effect on league standings and such. And I’ve also enjoyed being able to agree with the RM fans in this thread about a variety of things. It’s been very harmonious. Besides you.
