City will appeal but any chance they get out of this ban? 2 years no champions league is a HUGE deal.
It is not that serious bruh, probably laundering dirty money or just really bad accounting. Its SPONSORSHIP money and figures. Nothing related to the pitch, fans, players or transfers.2 FFP violations in the last 6 years.....Man City should be fiscally monitored to the HIGHEST degree for the next 10 years.
What a joke
So it happened because your board questioned them, not because you did anything wrong?I’ll be fine and the club will be fine. This was bound to happen with our boards continual questioning of the legitimacy of FFP and contentious relationship with UEFA
No they did do sometning wrong but antagonizing then over the legitimacy of FFP in court after them backing down from the legal challenge last time was unwiseSo it happened because your board questioned them, not because you did anything wrong?
Excuse me for being a fan when people stay talking nonsense about my club. Am I supposed to sit back and say nothing?Armada is a man city apologist. Always trying to tell you that **** is sweet when in reality the house in burning from the inside out.
Yes, but you're trying to tell us that this nothing major when everyone know this is serious. It's as if you're drinking the Kool Aide. Hell, at this point, it's not even an if.Excuse me for being a fan when people stay talking nonsense about my club. Am I supposed to sit back and say nothing?
Im not saying it’s not major it obviously is. I’m correcting some misinformation and stating that the club will be fine. Am I wrong to think we will survive this?Yes, but you're trying to tell us that this nothing major when everyone know this is serious. It's as if you're drinking the Kool Aide. If we tried to purposely cheat the FFP system, we deserve punishment. So it happened because your board questioned them, not because you did anything wrong?

Swear bro, it's like we got to apologize and agree with everything posted in here or somethingIm not saying it’s not major it obviously is. I’m correcting some misinformation and stating that the club will be fine. Am I wrong to think we will survive this?
At its core, I like what certain aspects of FFP was implemented for especially with what you mentioned already. One thing I will say about the argument against FFP is there is a level of legitimacy to arguing that its main intent is to preserve the status quo of football.
But when you take a step back, there is a positive purpose of going against the status quo of the entire world outside of football. Maybe not every institution of the world should have to completely bend over for the mega-rich. As in that type of rich from Saudi Arabia that has Trump ignoring the murder of a journalist and serving interests of other autocrats/oligarchs. And FFP is a way of finding a middle ground between insulating the systems of football from being overly-influenced by inorganic investments (that often comes from pretty vile people,) and still allowing the extra injection of capital into the game that, to some extent, smaller selling clubs often benefit from and player salaries become significantly improved from.
You are joking right?I didnt compare City's financial situation to Barca. If you re-read what I posted I was pointing out how Barca can spend so much compared to smaller La Liga clubs within FFP because they gain so much from winning and sponsors. Even with FFP theres huge disparities because how big and reputable Barca is. It's not a knock on Barca it's to show FFP isnt really what it seems because the big clubs will always be the big clubs.
The business model, academy maybe Barca-esque now but Pre Guardiola I dont think City resembled anything like Barca. Mancini and Pelligrini had completely different tactics and styles. We dont owe anything to yall.
Even with Txiki we didnt get Pep till what 4 years later? He wanted Pep to come but no one thought that would be a reality till he finally did.You are joking right?
You don’t know who the executives are at your club? Do you know your director?
