Wanted to see dude flourish once he left Ligue 1, hasn't popped for him as I had hoped. His games played to goals ratio isn't that bad. But yea, he might have better success in the Bundesliga in general.

If anything united has improved their stance in negotiations by the purchase of Bruno. We can afford to hold on to him even if he isn't happy. He almost has to come back and perform or he runs the risk of no transfer. I really don't think Madrid were ever that interested in the player tbh, history would tell us Perez ALWAYS gets his players. You keep mentioning a fictional price when madrid never really put in a bid. All united have to do is get him back healthy, let him play, send him to euros and collect the full bag. What leverage are you speaking on, he still have a year with an additional option for 12 more months. United are in a great position.
