Love how they're not even really arguing over wrongdoing or bringing in new evidence to help their case, just basically saying other clubs **** stinks too

A little backstory on Davies's journey to get to where he's at rn, inspiring stuff :pimp:

Kurzawa's been delivering consistent lulz for years now

Actually the CEO is also arguing no wrong doing was done. He said it today earlier in a interview. He also said that they did indeed cooperate unlike Uefas report said. And will provide the evidence to an impartial body he claims CAS will be unlike uefa. Bold claims of him To him to make he better not be just saying that cause that could easily come back to bite us, the entire board and himself really.

Not against having other clubs dirt exposed as well but it'll be interesting seeing which route their lawyers take to argue against the charges cause I doubt UEFA would've come down so hard on such a powerful entity like ADUG if they didn't feel like they had an airtight case

This doesn’t surprise me at all, back’s can’t be messed around with.

England potentially without Kane and Rash this summer

Would be a shame to see him miss out but if he's still hurt near the end of the season I'd prefer having him rest up during the summer than run the risk of aggravating it

My guy Armada be fighting these fires, I don't blame him tho

I do respect the energy/devotion though :lol, Citeh don't deserve you Armada Armada

England had a legit chance to win the euros this summer shame to see these injury set backs might hurt their chances. They got a decent squad. I think this Belgium generation might finally do it this summer personally

I would imagine so too. Given that the first time uefa ruled lightly on this overvaluation of the sponsorship in question those years ago the was because they feared a legal battle. Supposedly the same reason they backed down on PSG overvaluation of one of their sponsorships. I gotta assume either now they got better lawyers than they did then or they posturing. Guess we will see.

A summary of the important bits and claims the club CEO Soriano made today

TL;DW

  • The allegations are not true
  • The club have sought legal advice
  • The club has not been funded by the owner though channels not already properly declared
  • The club is sustainable and profitable
  • The club has been audited by stakeholders, investors and regulators
  • The club provided documents, support and evidence and were not uncooperative
  • The judgement has been found on stolen out of context information
  • This is not about justice but about politics
  • We're going to CAS
  • CAS One was because the club was concerned about leaks
  • CAS One concluded there was merit and leaks are worrisome
  • Timescale is an early resolution, hoped before beginning of summer
  • Business as usual in meantime
  • The experience has been negative for the club, more than imagined
  • The club is seeking a proper adjudication with an impartial body who will look at all of the evidence without preconception

Sancho has been trying to meg Verratti all game long
Verratti always loses his composure in big matches, to think at one point I was shook about him going to Barca.

Rip Pop Smoke

Verratti getting baptized by Sancho

"So Kurzawa, where did you try to pass that ball? Your teammate is right there, not across the pitch by the touchline."

I would have France, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany ahead of England even with a healthy Kane & Rash. These teams are stacked.

Given Haland's and Odengaard's current form, I can see Norway making noise in this year's Euros

Match was supposed to be played last week on Sunday but inclement weather forced the game to be postponed

oh, okay.

West ham defender grabs an onside Aguero by the junk, but of course no penalty.

COYS

Expecting the worst in light of Son's injury but you never know what could happen

Dele is more of a striker than Lucas is, no?
Neither are anywhere near a striker but I would put Lucas there before Dele.
Dele might be a better striker but his creativity far surpasses Lucas, thus the striker should always be Lucas if those are the options.

RB with a decent chance 30 seconds in

Gonna be tough for Spurs without Son or Kane but RB's also missing Upamecano too so they caught a slight break too
