Same thing happened in Argentina, except the vast majority of players there are still Argentine. Quality of the league overall is just mediocre.

I feel you, The big clubs used to poach at 22-25 y/o from Portugal. Now it’s 18-21...

It sucks, but it’s nature of the business I guess. Wolves would still be playing in the second division somewhere if it wasn’t for this but it’s absolutely killing the Portuguese league.

getting to the point that I wouldn’t even be mad if Flo dipped and made the super league he’s been talking about

Crazy how teams have been poaching Portuguese talent from our league SOOO much earlier than they ever did before...

Leaving Portugal’s big clubs super mediocre with barely any Portuguese players....

Our league is in so much trouble man :smh:

We talked about this before; that's why I basically stopped watching :smh: Whenever there's an up and coming talent, my immediate thought is "Which La Liga/Prem club is going to swoop this dude at the end of the season?" rather than who's going to win the league or compete in the CL. Now all we have to look forward to is group stage exits and clubs full of old dudes

Newest addition to the collection :pimp:

Meanwhile those hand balls vs Levante didn't even get checked, this isn't a situation where I'm saying they're cheating for barca because all big clubs get these advantageous ref calls, it's the inconsistency of VAR usage which makes no sense to me.

Yea there’s been times where we get favorable calls too (like every big club,) but over the last few seasons it’s been clear to me la liga has their favorite kid. We get shafted a lot.

Missed the first one so this is the first Inter Miami match I watch. Nice goal from Pizarro. I wonder why Pelligrini is on the bench.

A couple months in, how are you feeling about the Mou experiment Belgium Belgium ?

Think you guys are better off from Poch?

Feel like the biggest change with Mou is in the amount of fame that one spurs fan got talking about trophy mourinho. Never heard of him until Mou got hired, then soon after he’s on sky sports dropping bars about dbz

I feel for the people who had hope that he changed a few months back. Been looking like the same, bitter, excuse filled and uninspired manager still picking fights with his best players that we've seen since he left Madrid lately.

Especially feel for Ndombele who's become his new Pogba/scapegoat  :smh:

It's nowhere near the degree of improvement I hoped to see but we're absolutely better off. We started going off a cliff around February last season and had performances week in week out that were much much worse than what we're seeing under Mou. This season it somehow got even worse. Usually we weren't even getting to the box under Poch this season, let alone creating good scoring chances. That's easily the biggest improvement under Mou.

Disappointed to see Ndombele thrown under the bus like this but I do have some questions about his fitness and/or motivation. I don't know if it's the return from injury, general lack of fitness or personal issues but it is noticeable, especially now that I'm paying extra attention to it. Surely his fitness can't be so bad to cause that amount of slow jogging in the early minutes.

I knew who Expressions was well before Mourinho took over at Spurs. He pops up on AFTV every now and then, usually during the North London Derby.

the thing about mou is that it's only going to get worse

getting mourinho after poch was a terrible decision
after all the hard work poch put in you would want someone to continue the philosophy instead of selling your soul to try and win the FA cup

tottenham will be in shambles and poch's work will all be for nothing
