Wonder if Casillas is gonna fight this or just go quietly,he's straight up getting replaced internationally and domestically by the same dude :lol

I'd be happy with Valdés + Begovic as keepers instead of dropping 50m on Lloris that could be used elsewhere.

I really dont understand why they bring in ddg when keylor navas is there

Dude killed it in the olympix

Because DDG is only 24,from Madrid and is probably the next Spain no.1 for the next decade :lol, makes too much sense for both sides.

Exactly, it makes too much sense, if you don't get it I'm not sure what to say :lol

Now does that 30 plus million come back to Madrid for Bale? Hmmmmm

I got a question tho, if Bale leaves why does it have to be United? Why would that be his only option? Doesn't City stand a chance, God knows they need speed on the wings more than anybody. They're extremely slow.

Ochoa did great in the World Cup but even hes not getting great PT at Malaga

rich clubs stock talented depth throughout the roster just in case players go down

Damn man DDG is my favorite red too :{ :{ :{

I knew it was inevitable but Woodward and co. better land Gundogan/Bale/Hurrikane/Insert overpriced player

That 100m price tag is sure to scare clubs off Coupe :lol

But it's not like City can't afford it, they can financially maneuver themselves out of the FFP penalty to acquire him, it'll take a lot of doing but City would love to have Bale.

I mean they could but its just that they'd have to offload a good amount of players and they were planning on bidding on Pogba/Raheem/De Bruyne and others. I'm sure they'd love to have him but they'd be pushing it real tight with the FFP rules.

My mouf is salivating at the thought :hat

City waaay too ambitious on landing Raheem the Dream, Pogba, De Bruyne, Firmino and others. Gotta solidify our defense first with some defensive minded fullbacks. Teams like Arsenal, Pool, and Man U have some exciting young talents at LB and RB. We have almost extinct dinosaurs defending for us in our back four, I think they are the oldest bunch in all of Europe. Wish we had a chance at Danilo, RM got a steal on the kid.

But out of all of the rumored prospects I'd take any one of those midfielders, just even one of them would be nice.

Aren't City (& PSG) up against FFP restrictions at this point? They either have to have brought in enough $$$ to equal the transfer money or sell off players for equal amount which will be hard for City because I don't think anyone is going to pay top dollar for anyone except for Aguero.

well city can just dump a bunch of their crap players in serie A for nothing and in return build a bunch of new training grounds with all that donated oil money

doesn't barca rotate their gks? casillas can play the la liga bums table 5-20 and ddg can play the games where teams actually have an attacking player

De Gea :hat

Madrid ready to takeover again :hat
Lmao no yall are not ready. Yall are in shambles but this was a great buy. But then again yall have a lot of great buys every year but seem how to be in a crisis every year

And barca play one keeper for all la Liga games and one keeper for all cup competitions.
Which they have two very good keepers. Ter stergen is a future star...and will be he heir to Nuer

I could be looking into it too much, but I felt that Madrid-Juve game could have been either a double win or double loss

In that, if Real won at the Bernabeu it would have increased their chances of landing Pogba. And the L now can make Pogba not want to join as much.

The thing Real has working most for them imo is the transfer ban on Barca. Otherwise I think Pogba definitely would have went there. But dude seems definitely ready to move now.

True but it's out here pogba still REALLY wants to come to Madrid. His top choice.

Bale doesn't want to leave Madrid. That's dope :hat hope he stays around and kills it next year

flyeed flyeed - One could look at it this way too... Pogba seems to be in no rush to leave Turin so coming to Camp Nou in January would seem logical in that respect. He was actually quoted as saying his childhood dream was to one day play for either Arsenal or Barca.

His agent was quoted earlier this years saying about Madrid -

... Real Madrid are a club that is used to buying players like you buy a facecloth -- and then throws them away like a facecloth... Real are a team that sees a player who has six good games at the World Cup and buys him... We don't want to go to a club like that. We want to go to a club that believes in Paul's potential. I am not closing the door to Real, but I'm not opening it either.

:rolleyes

With so many players in the midfield already for Madrid, I honestly can't see him going there to play.

Having said that though, I can't see Barca paying that kind of money for a transfer fee for a single player right now, in fact I think they might've quietly bowed out of the Pogba sweepstakes.

With Juve doing so well domestically & now finally getting over the CL hump, Pogba might even end up staying in Turin. They seem intent on building a perennial winner every year & seem to be doing well business wise.

Stats don't always tell the full story but I thought it was interesting that DdG doesn't rate in the top 20 keepers across the top 5 leagues in Europe. He ranks #32 amongst that field & 6th in the Prem.

Pogba isn't doing a January transfer and taking himself out of the CL for a season.

Also, why do u think Barca wouldn't dish out the money for him?

They spent a lot on both Neymar and Suarez, and will have more in the funds from winning the league and probably the CL as well.

One of the kids on my son's team was spotted at one of our games last fall by UA & asked to "model" some of their spring boys gear that will be used on their site & print ads. He didn't get paid but got lunch & UA gear. He's the kid in the middle. The kid is one of the best players on the team. Dribbles the ball really well & reads the game very very well.

With the renovation of Camp Nou looming, the suits have laid out a specific budget to follow. Earlier in the year, the club announced that it will have €60 mill ($83.2 mill) to use on the transfer budget at the close of this campaign for use in January.

They spent more than they intended to last summer because they weren't going to be able to make purchases over summer 2014.

Not sure how all this changes though with the elections coming this summer.
