Lots of running around this weekend. Son's team had a chance to win our first foray into 11v11 league & ran into a team we always have trouble with. We lost 3-1.

Will have to wait until next week to see if we won the league. Funny thing is we only gave up 3 points all season. :(

Good to see Barca win the league today. Kind poetic the win came at the Calderon since it was this time last year the league was lost to Atleti at the Calderon. :smokin

One step closer to a possible treble. :x

You guys are crazy if you think this Barca team is better than either the 2008-2009 or 2010-2011.

Both teams had a synergy that can't and will not be replicated ever again between management to coaching to players. Those teams (especially the 08-09) are considered one of the all time great football teams ever.

This team is great, but it's not an all time great team.

Edit - I'm happiest for Enrique who was so much maligned this campaign. Although I thought he was a little too rigid, he is what the team needed. There are too many prima donna footballers on the team that needed a swift kick in the *** by a demanding coach. His way has paid dividends & will hopefully even produce a treble.

Yeah I voted hmm in the poll, I'd have to agree with that psk. As scary as Barca and their trident have looked at times, they didn't dominate as consistently over the course of the season like Peps squads did and their chemistry doesn't really match those squads which makes sense. Enriques team found their groove later on in the season but man did I hate watching those Barca teams not just because of their style of play but also because you already knew how most of their matches would end :lol :{. Those teams were winning the league usually by about a dozen points :x :x.

As much as it pains me to say, those are seriously probably the strongest teams I've ever seen.

DDG or HurriKane :hat :hat.

On a serious note :lol, Messi's gotta be at the top of the list right now followed by CR7 and honestly Suarez :lol :x. You might as well seal it for Leo though if they win the CL final on top of Argentina's expected strong showing in the Copa America

Fallout from the Copa Libertadores Superclasico, Boca have been kicked out of the tournament, accessed a $200k fine, ordered to play their next 4 international home matches behind closed doors, & 4 away international games without fans.

Barca 1 down 2 to go!

As for the poll I can't call it. Xavi and iniesta were in their prime... But this front 3 is way better than that front 3.

Pique and mascherano have had an Amazing season.
Dani Alves was better back then.
Peps team played more attractive football but his team is more balanced...better defense.
It's hard to say because it's been such an up and down season....and Suarez didn't start play till the end of of October and rakitic was still fitting in. But this whole team just meshed and started clicking so quickly. Amazing turnaround.

IM with PSK.. dont think its that close. Pep's teams would completely dismantle opponents, give this Enrique team another yr and you might see that but as of right now? Nah.. Pep's wins hands down

Dybala confirmed to be a Juventus player

HULK's issue from what I hear are his wages. Not many clubs willing to keep him on or increase his current deal...

:rollin at Vermaelen just winning La Liga without playing, celebrating in his jersey and jeans.
