I remember reading about Iker and Ramos working in tandem trying to get the management to push him out but I'm sure their were a lot more things behind the scenes that led to his exit.

I'm sure Casillas did do that but Mourinho could have still stayed (if he wanted to). Mou left tho because he hated it there - couldn't trust some players because of the media (Casillas, etc), hated the press, and absolutely hated the politics.

You can see at Chelsea he's much happier (even tho it doesn't look like it sometimes lol) Don't blame him, I'd never want to manage at Madrid or Barca. Much rather be in EPL.

Agreed. At Chelsea he can basically build everything to his liking,the amount of control that Roman gives him over the team is something that Real would never be able to replicate for obvious commercial/political reasons.
