The Korean programming I have only has a highlight show & will occasionally show games. I wish they had more but they don't show them with any regularity. At it's best, K league kinda reminds me of Bundesliga. It's a very vertical game & the team like to surge forward. I'd go regardless because I love watching football. Shoot I go to Baltimore Bohemians game which is team playing in the USL Premier Development League & Baltimore Blast games (arena soccer).



Make sure to drink some good lager like Hite, Cass, or OB.... I like OB. Be careful with the soju.... Eat some street food too... Have fun & take pics if you can...

Thanks man. I'll see if I can get tickets (can't see them on the website but it might be too early to get them right now). I know there are good Korean players, but the only ones I know are the ones who have been in the European leagues, so I had no idea if the K League would be entertaining or not. Sounds like it'll be worth giving a shot.

I've never checked out Korea before; it's always only been a stop on the way to the other Asian countries I've visited. I've wanted to go with my Korean friend for a while, but he refused and said that if he goes, he's gonna be obligated to spend time with his super traditional family, and it's gonna ruin the trip

I have a buddy who works for the 49ers and he said they were having a hard time moving those tickets, even going as far as making people purchase them as part of the Man U/Barca package for ICC. I wanted to go just to see Kaka, but I really don't want to deal with Levi's stadium or the drive to the Bay Area. If it was at Avaya I would have been there for sure.

It's better than driving to Berkeley for sure. Such a pain in the @$! to get in and out of the area compared to other large stadiums I've been to throughout the country. As soon as I saw Man United vs SJ is gonna be at Memorial Stadium, I pretty much crossed it off my list unless I get a really good deal.

No idea why they're not using Avaya stadium for all the games. SJ vs Orlando in Levis, SJ vs LA in Stanford, etc. I mean I can understand that if they still played at Santa Clara, but what the hell was the point of a brand new stadium then? You'd rather play in a half empty football stadium?

Still think they should have spent the money and built Avaya with a capacity of +25,000.

Yea, they made it a smaller stadium because of noise complaints from nearby residents. They didn't want to have to deal with large crowd noise and the airport as well. That huge open end looks so awkward

Netherlands U21’s will be participating in the Toulon Tournament which begins this week, and below are the five young Dutchmen you should keep an eye on.

El Ghazi has been excellent in his debut season for the Ajax first team, scoring nine goals and adding eight assists in 31 Eredivisie appearances, form which saw the winger named as the club’s young player of the year. The 20-year-old is pacey, skillful, and extremely dangerous around the box, attributes which have seen El Ghazi described as a young Cristiano Ronaldo.

Capable of switching his allegiances to Morocco, El Ghazi has four caps so far for the Netherlands U21’s, but has yet to be on the winning side. The youngster will reportedly come under the watchful eye of Chelsea and Atletico Madrid during the tournament.

Another very talented winger, Rayhi has been a star for PSV’s youth teams for the past few years, and scored several goals for the first team in pre-season. Injuries have limited Rayhi to 12 appearances for Jong PSV in the Eerste Divisie, but he has always caught the eye when able to step on the pitch.

Rayhi netted two goals in the final game of the season, and will be heading to the Toulon Tournament bang in form. Quick and very skillful, Rayhi will be one of Netherlands biggest threats in France.

The only recognisable centre forward in the Netherlands squad, Janssen’s 19 goals helped Almere City reach the play-offs for promotion in the Eerste Divisie, and now he will be hoping to fire Netherlands to success in France.

The 20-year-old is a typical number nine, deadly in the box and good in the air, but also possesses decent pace and will be hoping that an impressive tournament will lead to a move to the Eredivisie this summer. Janssen has two caps already for the U21’s but has yet to score.

One of Netherlands finest defensive prospects, Hateboer has been very impressive for Groningen in 30 appearances this season. Strong in the tackle, tall, and quick the 21-year-old has all the attributes of a quality right back, whilst also possessing positive attributes going forward.

Hateboer has given the Eredivisie’s finest wingers a tough time this season, and he will be hoping to do the same when he gets the chance to add to his single cap for the U21’s in France.

haye azThom Haye

The versatile 20-year-old midfielder has been a regular for AZ Alkmaar this season, making 32 appearances, usually as a central midfielder, but Haye is also capable of playing on the wings or in front of the defence. Haye possesses a great eye for a pass, and uses his exceptional dribbling technique to hold onto the ball well.

Haye is yet to make his debut for the U21’s despite being a regular for the U17’s and U19’s, but after a great season in the Eredivisie, the midfielder could be one of the stars of the tournament.

Argentina's beloved former striker and manager Diego Maradona has launched a scathing personal attack on Sepp Blatter ahead of FIFA's presidential elections this week.
Blatter is seeking an unprecedented fifth term at the helm of the governing body, with Prince Ali bin Al Hussein of Jordan his only challenger following the withdrawal of several other candidates.
The 79-year-old Swiss has been widely criticised during his reign and Maradona is aghast that he is the overwhelming favourite to retain his position.
Writing for the Telegraph, the 1986 World Cup winner said: "Under Sepp Blatter, Fifa has become a disgrace and a painful embarrassment to those of us who care about football deeply.
"While I find almost no one openly supporting Blatter, many think he will win a fifth term. Why? The whole notion of a fifth term is an absurdity in 2015.
"No one has argued that he is the best man for the job and deserves to win.

"Recently he pledged to follow through in addressing racism in football and promoting women in the sport. That made me laugh. My question is: 'Sepp, what were you doing in your last four terms?'
"We have a dictator for life. I call Blatter 'the man of ice' because he lacks the inspiration and passion that are at the very heart of football. If this is the face of international football, we are in a very bad place."

I'm learning firsthand why MLS tickets are so cheap. Man this is brutal to watch, neither San Jose nor Orlando can control the ball AT ALL. Kaka is the only one who can make passes that would be assists if his teammates didn't act like they've never touched a football before

Can't even get drunk to enjoy this, 12 bucks for a decent beer at Levis Stadium adds up when you have a high tolerance
