- Chelsea defender Filipe Luis has rejected interest from Real Madrid. The fullback will only leave Stamford Bridge for Atletico Madrid and refused to even consider a move to the Bernabeu.

- Jose Mourinho has made Gonzalo Higuain his No.1 striker target this summer. The Chelsea boss is keen to be reunited with Higuain, whom he worked with at Real Madrid, and is ready to bid 30 million pounds.

- Chelsea will sell England Under-21 striker Patrick Bamford and has set an asking price of 10 million pounds. Newcastle and Sunderland are both vying for the Championship Player of the Year, with the Blues willing to loan if he can't be sold.

- Newcastle is ready to launch a double raid on Chelsea, with the Magpies keen to sign both Marco van Ginkel and Patrick Bamford. The Dutch midfielder spent last season with AC Milan and Jose Mourinho could elect to send him out on loan again.

TMZ Sports spotted RiRi and the Real Madrid stud on their way out of Hooray Henry's ... and even though they left separately, it was pretty obvious they were there together.

As we previously reported, the two had been hanging out on the East Coast (after flirting online last year) ... and even met up for a late night food run in NYC just last week.

Which bring us back to last night ... when Benzema shelled out a bunch of cash to the infamous rose lady on his way out of the club ... seems like a shameless attempt to close the deal.

Yes, the 10s of millions that Montoya or Alves would never have gone for are definitely needed by poor small club Barca with La Liga and CL winning money for the season in order to fund the transfer and be the difference in acquiring Pogba or not.

bet he doesn't. you only think that because you think that the only purpose of an extension is to get a transfer fee since you're a Man U fan and De Gea wants to walk for cheap. Barca is a classy club. They wouldn't offer a veteran who's given them years of service an extension just to get rid of him a few months later. And Alves and his agent wouldn't have signed an extension without certain assurances.

Ummm, they did my man Abi wrong... They promised him an extension when he was diagnosed with cancer if he came back & then reneged. Then they promised him a real job after he retired but only offered something ceremonial which he declined.

Speaks to the level of class Abi is/has... He doesn't talk any trash about the club when he really could. But they did him wrong.
