Pfft We're going to steam roll y'all. So Liverpool are going to be mopped by Real Madrid Wednesday?
The way I look at it. Madrid's defence is not exactly a stellar model of defensive strength...however, Liverpool's backline is useless. Madrid on the other hand have a ridiculously strong attack, and Liverpool simply don't. The loss of SAS has clearly shown itself, and will continue to show itself in bigger matches.
I can't see how Liverpool could really turn on the heat against Madrid...

did dis dude just say dis?I'm not sure how it is where you guys live, but I know a lot of better American athletes would get introduced to the sport where I am if it weren't a "Fall sport" and competing with football
It should be mandated that it's a Spring sport everywhere and the pool of players and talent will grow.
I know in Long Island at least that a lot of the top athletes here would give it a go and maybe fall in love with the game and eventually drop football altogether if it weren't competing with Football in the Fall for high school teams.
Football players here get ******* b, not soccer players.
Where in LI are you from?
With the Boca Jr academy out here, I'm hoping more camps and schools open up.
It'll be tough watching this and the 49ers game at the same time

My bad for the late response, but im in a smallish town in the west part of south shore Nassau. You?
If there is a USMNT player I would compare him to it would be an unpolished version of Aron Jóhannsson.Just read this article on deadspin about Gyas Zardes (http://screamer.deadspin.com/how-ho...rdes-are-transforming-1648216049/+GregHoward1)
No idea who or what this dude is about but I guess he's out here playing really well and he's homegrown talent. Kilinsman hasn't called him up tho. Maybe due to his "MLS" hate.
What can ya'll MLS heads tell me about him? I'd guess anything would be better than Jozy at this point.
Keisuke Honda is quietly coming back to the form of his days at CSKA. I really like what inzaghi has done with the squad, hopefully he can get torres more involved but im sure his best days are far behind him.
I hope these rumors of Khedira coming to Milan are true, he is the player they need if the want to compete in Champions/ Europa league next season

When comparing him directly to Jozy, they have similar strengths in hold up ability and shooting with decent power but I don't think he quite has the strength to be that lone target forward that Jürgen seems to see in Jozy. However, while he doesn't thrive as a target forward, I do think he performs a bit more comfortably in taking on defenders 1 on 1 and playing out in space (as evident when the Galaxy plays him at times in the midfield). He also has a nose for goals so that's a plus...
And I don't think Jürgen hates him or other MLS youngsters per se, but rather he is just waiting out on bringing in the young MLS'ers until the January camp.
De Gea, Rafael, Jones, Rojo, Shaw, Blind, Herrera, Januzaj, Mata, Di Maria, van Persie
