City didnt play well enuf to win, but should still have. The penalty was BS. Complete and utter BS!!!

@IMASOLEMAN18 You're the only one in the world who didn't want David Moyes fired, you refused. Now you want LvG fired in October? really? Come on Sole :lol

City will be City - I wonder what this says more about the the EPL tho going forward in the Champions League.

Ospina injured for three months. You couldn't make it up. Amazing, now we've got the goalkeeper for Arsenal's Injury XI.

What on earth is going on over there with Arsenals training facilities?!?

Arsene Wenger will be forced to call on third choice Emiliano Martinez against Anderlecht.

Even though that wasn't a penalty, City ought to be too god to get in a situation where their Champions League fate is decided by a doubtful penalty call. How come the true juggernauts never put themselves into a situation like that. First of all, they completely relaxed when they conceded the first goal. Secondly, they should've beaten Roma at home, who outplayed them. So far, they definitely deserve to be where they are in the group.

lmao at city not sealing the game long before that shady penalty call.

lel

Aiming high for that europa league instead, eh?

Not a good excuse for a team that spends hundreds of millions and won the EPL twice in the last 3 seasons.
Absolutely. They just **** the bed in the 2nd half. Careless/lazy passes, getting caught out of position etc. Seems like the CL ain't ******* with Manchester this season.

please share these stories with us

I think it was 2-3 years ago during a Boca Jr vs River Plate classico where some Boca Jr supporters killed 2 security guards after River Plate scored.

Quilmes has 2 factions of their own supporters that war with each other...

One could argue that these Barra Brava are more violent than the Italian Ultras...

Yea man the passion in South America in general is just on another level all together. The thing you see more of in SA are small clubs based in small towns or provinces with massive fan support, but none of the money for things like stadium ops and adequate security.

From what I've heard the craziest thing from a player perspective is proximity to the fans. You'll get 10k fans squeezed into the equivalent of an American high school stadium and they're literally right on top of you going nuts. You're basically at their mercy.

A guy I used to coach under signed his first pro contract in Colombia. One time they played at a club and for some reason part of the away bench wasnt covered. Him and all the other young guys were stuck on the end exposed to the fans, they spent the entire match trying not to get hit by projectiles thrown from the stands, everything from homemade fireworks to bottles of piss. He's a young guy too this was in the 2000's. lol :{

LOL. City ain't getting any love from UEFA refs. No call on the foul on Dzeko in the 1st half plus the pk.

But seriously if you are gonna call one soft penalty call the other.  If that was a pen then so was Dzeko's

Either way they had chances to put the game away...i just hate when a ref decides the game like that

Worst training staff ever

You guys ready for Porto vs Atletic? :hat :lol

I don't know which will be the second game I choose to watch concurrent with the Porto game. Think it'll be Roma vs Bayern. Let's go Roma!

The ref may have decided that game, but what about the others?

I have to agree here, Citeh should never have gotten themselves into that position. All that money, and all of the years to gel and get their systems right, by now with that squad, they should be having deeper runs into the CL consistently.

I'm so tired of this fake Marc Gasol look alike banging the drums in these Heineken Champions League ad's.

Can we change this up Heineken? Please?

Stadio Olimpico is straight bumping!!! :hat

You rarely see it like this. I'm sure that'll give the players even more energy
