Suarez contributions to the team last season were immense. I suppose, perhaps, it wasn't just Suarez who was tired of being part of a mid-table team.lolwut ? Suarez played a big role, but if that were the case we would have been in the top 4 the season before as well.
Suarez spent a little over 3 years at Liverpool and it wasn't until he got a official strike partner in Daniel Sturridge was he able to really flourish. I'm not denying his talent, but to say it was him alone that carried the team is crazy.Suarez contributions to the team last season were immense. I suppose, perhaps, it wasn't just Suarez who was tired of being part of a mid-table team.
Interesting though, how one can draw the parallel between Liverpools most successful season in what, 6 years? and Suarez being part of the team
Suarez leaves and liverpool magically step down to midtable again after riding high and finishing top 4 last season.
Makes me wonder what Rogers put in the water last season as well....
I will say this though, the season isn't over and Liverpool still have a chance of breaking top 4, hell even winning the league, but as of now the lack of Suarez is felt.
Oh yea and the lack of Sturridge, I completely forgot son was still out...
Ask Rodgers. Why isn't Markovic playing? Or Emre Can?
De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Rojo, Shaw, Blind, Fellaini, Januzaj, Rooney, Di Maria, van Persie
Lindegaard, McNair, Carrick, Fletcher, Herrera, Mata, Wilson
Thank God Valencia didn't stick a leg out
