Hey speak for yourself, Porto last won a champions league in 04', that's not too long ago. That was around the last time Wenger won an EPL.

@archiert1 Could be quite a coup this: Bayern Munich have agreed a deal for Rennes' 18-year-old wonderkid Ousmane Dembélé according to @beinsports_FR.

To be honest i've been confused about whats he has been doing with these guys and the lineups he's picked in the league this season for a while now. Recently i've heard a lot of people blaming the decline in form on the Pep announcement but  we have been in inconsistent form since after the first 5 league games.

At least we one the COC and made it further in the CL than we ever have I guess :\
Thats the thing though. We never were fully healthy with our complete team. We had maybe 3 or 4 matches with

Aguero-Silva-Sterling-KDB-Yaya-Fernandinho-Clichy-Kompany-Otamendi-Zabaleta-Hart

You add in 2 new players to the attack, and one new defender in the back to any team and they will need time to gel. They never got the chance to find that chemistry. Injuries, squad rotations and no passion to achieve more was the death of Manchester City in the league this season.

Plenty of bright spots fam. KDB is the truth, Sterling has scored more in his career than ever and he's still young. Iheanacho might be the heir to Aguero. We get Pep to patch our defense and mentality, we'll be back and running in no time

City was a juggernaut 2-3 years ago with a lot of these same players. A lot of those dudes are over the hill or just not good enough. Silva is not the player he used to be, neither is Toure and they were the driving force behind those titles they won. Chelsea went through the same thing (and it seems to be recurring again this season) a few years back when key guys like Cole, Lampard and Drogba reached the end of their usefulness

City knew that. Thats why they signed DeBruyne, Sterling, Otamendi, and Mangala...all younger players to be the present and furure. All of whom have missed significant time due to injury, on top of Aguero, Silva, Nasri, and Delph. It is what it is, but thats a lot of talented bodies missing lots of matches.

Dinamo Zagreb's team of players who left the club in the last 10 years

Can't forget about my boy Eduardo :hat

Spent a couple of weeks with Dinamo last spring. Had to keep reminding myself I was witnessing what truly is a world class academy, they were so open and welcoming.

yikes. max kruse got sent home from the german national team like a day after getting to camp. something about him not abiding to being part of the team. damn shame, I like that kids game and germany needs a true striker bad. muller can fill that gap at times, but an out and out striker is needed to take over for klose

I'm surprised no one has posted about Buffon's heartfelt open letter after breaking the Serie A record of 929 minutes without coneding a goal. He finally let one in at 973 after failing to stop a PK. This made me tear up tho no lie.

"I was 12 when I turned my back on you, denying my past to guarantee you a safe future.

I went with my heart.

I went with my instinct.

But the day I stopped looking you in the face is also the day that I started to love you.

To protect you.

To be your first and last line of defence.

I promised myself that I would do everything not to see your face again. Or that I would do it as little as possible. It was painful every time I did, turning around and realising I had disappointed you.

Again.

And again.

We have always been opposites yet we are complementary, like the sun and the moon. Forced to live side by side without being able to touch. Team-mates for life, a life in which we are denied all contact.

More than 25 years ago I made my vow: I swore to protect you. Look after you. A shield against all your enemies. I've always thought about your welfare, putting it first even ahead of my own.

I was 12 when I turned my back on my goal. And I will keep doing it as long as my legs, my head and my heart will allow."

From the 3rd tier of English football playing the likes of Hartlepool and Chesterfield

To being top of the Prem, potentially winning it and going into the CL and playing Barcelona in America.

I don't think anyone will ever understand how hard this is for me to comprehend after how **** we were for so long :lol

Must be a legit surreal feeling unlike any other team.

It's a great story and you guys deserve it with how you've been able to maintain this form all season. I hope you guys can pull it off and hoist the trophy.
