Are Arsenal fans happy to have Vardy coming?

I thought he played well in a completely different system to what Arsenal plays.

Is he supposed to come off the wood for Giroud? Or start? Or is he going to play on the LW to support Olivier :lol ?

I just don't really understand this Vardy move.

I don't see the point of getting Mahrez either if I was Wenger. There's enough creative midfield talent.

Kante on the other hand...

no. not happy.

He was copped off da hype

Like a yeezy boost

He will not score more than 10 goals for you if you do not play him correctly. I promise you that.

Vardy and Leicester are a perfect match, his style suits us, our style suits him. Force him to adapt to Arsenals tiki-taka football or shove him out on the wing like England do, he'll be ineffective.

I love the bloke, he's my favourite player, but I've watched every single game he's ever played for us and even I can admit he has his limitations. Leicester built the team around him.

He's not an Arsenal type player, so it's a weird one that they're interested and it's an even weirder one that he wants to go, seemingly. I will not begrudge him for moving to a more elite club at this stage of his career, but it'll be a mistake, either in that he won't get played, or he'll be played out of position. Not to mention Arsenal fans are ruthless man, one bad game and AFTV will be calling for his head. **** that :lol

Only way I see Vardy working is if they let him play out on the wings and he makes those constant cuts off ball a la b-ball. He isn't really shifty from what I recall, just straight line speed.

He won't be any good on the wing. He's not a winger. He's someone who stands on the shoulder of the last defender centrally and gives them hell with his pace. Amazing finisher. Pace in abundance. An amazing work rate, but he needs to be the 9. He won't be at Arsenal.

I too am curious as to why Vardy would want to go...
Money. Chance to play for an "elite" club as some would say. Live in London(even though it's a ****hole)

I don't know. I'm just so disappointed right now. Out of the 3 main players (Vardy, Kante, Mahrez) Vardy was the one I thought was nailed on to stay. Sad.

Ain't **** elite about Arsenal, come at me Gunners

you're not wrong. Until we get that world class no.9, CB and I think a winger will help, we could become an elite squad but we're just a OK team rn with holes.

..I'm not the most excited about these vardy rumors. He's already getting up there, and as HEGGSY mentioned, would be out of place in our system. Who knows, maybe because hes the opposite of graceful, he could work here because of the service he would get from Alexis/ozil and just bang in the goals from the platters served. If this is all true, I hope it's because Alvaro, Obama turned us down or were using this as just a bridge to the next no.9. I just don't think he is what we should be getting to try to become elite, I'd rather go after lukaku amongst the premier stikers but we'll find out soon enough

..yo, dunga just baffles me man, how is coutinho still not starting for brazil

EDIT: nvm, he's in there, could of swore Univision didn't have him in the line up earlier

Can't understand why Ecuador kicked the ball out but Brazil looked like they could've cared less that Willian was injured :{

I've never understood it. With the new rules allowing refs to use their discretion to stop play, there's no reason to kick the ball out for an opponent ever.
