Ravel Morrison is prolly one of the most talented English kids. Talent has nothing to do with why Man U let him go and why clubs aren't signing him. Ravel has an attitude that makes Balo look humble and can't seem to leave his kid "thug" friends. Now with Pogba, ok say letting him go wasn't a mistake but letting him go for FREE was a huge mistake. It's funny how everyone on here who laughed at Chelsea selling KDB (even though he asked to be sold) but saying ManU made no mistake in letting Pogba walk to Juve for freeSince I'm here...let me touch on this...since I've seen this argument countless times on and offline..
Pogba was NOT a mistake. It was an informed decision from an experienced managerial team, which simply didn't go as expected.
Countless youth players have shown ridiculous amounts of talent, and played well in their respective teams in the short time they were given, and the majority of them go on to be average or mediocre players (in case you forgot, please see United example Ravel Morrison or if you like have a look at the Wunderkid who has graced the EPL named Bojan). Pogba feeling like he was ready, was great, but at the end of the day it's down to management, if he isn't willing to wait, they he should rightfully go. Unproven players should never be making demands to a manager (yes, he was unproven at the time, a few good games/ gametime doesn't suddenly make a player proven), Pogba is just simply lucky that things went his way....
Letting go of him was the right decision at the time...hindsight is always 20/20...
I can't speak on the KDB situation, cause honestly, I didn't care about his situation. I only ever laughed at Chelsea for letting Matic go only to go back and get him back a little later.
You speak of Ravel's attitude; but honestly Pogba's attitude at the time was also problematic. He believed in himself (rightfully so) but didn't want to wait, which to me constitutes an attitude problem. What's best for the team right now, may not necessarily be best for you right now, and that's what Pogba didn't understand. A little more patience would have served himself well. At the end of the day, does it really matter? Cause I always figured he'd end up at PSG/Real to be honest...
