This should be the starting formation next match day. Iheanacho to Aguero again! switch out Demichelis and never play Yaya and Delph in mid again.

Yikes so close!! What a long ball by Payet to create that chance. He's such a great player all around :smokin

Hats off to Payet. He was controlling the midfield like a world class player. Pushing the tempo, tracking back and disrupting our flow of passes, delivering great balls from set pieces. Made Yaya, Delph and yes, even Silva look pedestrian today.

Again City with inconsistent play, hope Pellegrini stops experimenting and finds a solid match day lineup soon. Its about halfway through the season and its embarrassing to not know our best lineup to field. Injuries play a big part on why we haven't really been consistent but Aguero needs a statue built outside the Etihad. The amount of times he's bailed us out of matches :{

City and Arsenal need to start pulling away from each other soon. Title is up for grabs and I feel like these recent draws are doing neither team any favors

Liverpool let in 4 goals and still won? Damn that's impressive.

Mid level EPL teams really made a come up this year in terms of transfers.

Just wait until the new TV deal money kicks in over the next 2 years...gonna have the Newcastles and Palace's of the world fielding star studded squads :lol. I remember reading that the last place PL team will now make about as much as teams make for being in the UCL :x

Just now seeing Klopps presser, awesome banter about his glasses :rollin :rollin. Dude might have the most entertaining press conferences in the league :lol

The new deal kicks in at the start of next season. Hence clubs like Villa and Sunderland made their managerial changes quickly to try and just stay in the prem. The new money will be crazy. Mid table PL clubs are going to have some serious quality coming in...

I bet half of the lower-mid level teams will over pay for overrated players. They still need the scouting to find the gems.

Speaking of over paying and having a lot of money to spend, Tottenham and Liverpool have made dramatic U-turns from the money they've spent from their blockbuster sales. I can see a lot of teams go the QPR route if they're not careful of their spendings with the new money.

EXCLUSIVE: Jose Mourinho pens six-page letter to Manchester United, writes @MiguelDelaney http://ind.pn/1OOoYsW

Jose Mourinho has written Manchester United a six-page letter explaining his strong desire to manage the club and how he would be willing to adhere to United’s principles. He also outlined his plans for the team, and the key decisions he would take.

Mourinho, who was sacked by Chelsea last month, believes that a detailed charm offensive can finally secure his dream job of managing United once his old mentor Louis van Gaal leaves, and that depature is now widely expected to come in the summer.

Though Mourinho immediately targeted United as his next job after leaving Chelsea, the 52-year-old was keen not to step on Van Gaal’s toes. He worked for the Dutch coach at Barcelona between 1997-2000, and greatly respects him.

Yet United’s recent poor results, not least the 1-0 home defeat by Southampton yesterday, have opened up the possibility that Van Gaal’s time is running out, so Mourinho’s representative Jorge Mendes contacted the United board to discuss the future.

Though many among the United hierarchy were more open to appointing the Portuguese than they were when Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013, the former Chelsea manager’s camp were made aware that there was a still a considerable faction at the club opposed to hiring him. The reasons are thought to range from Mourinho’s regular controversies, his style of football and his failure to nurture young talent.

The Portuguese is well aware of this thinking, and that is why he took the decision to write a lengthy document, emphasising just how much he wants the job and how he would be willing to adapt his style to meet United’s principles. They have traditionally prided themselves on playing open, attacking football, and they have always set great store on developing their own young players.

In his submission Mourinho also presented a forensic analysis of this season’s team. The Portuguese has gone through every area of the current squad, offering extensive thoughts on what could be improved as well as making suggestion about signings that could help strengthen the squad.

Mourinho feels the depth of his approach will finally prove persuasive in getting the job he was wanted for over a decade. He is said to be “relaxed” about his future in that regard.
