I don't think you should make perfect the enemy of good.
The fact that not all the players are at all star weekend isn't an argument against all star weekend.
Should we not have had the bubble because not everyone can be in the bubble?
Plus the other players benefit from Allstar weekend, it brings revenue for the league which is pretty import in empty stadium pandemic season.
To me all star weekend is not some crazy unreasonable idea like it's being painted by some in the media.

I don’t think having an all-star game is a crazy idea, but to me the risks outweigh the potential rewards.
Since we’re talking about a scaled down AS weekend anyway, just seems unlikely it’s going to be a huge revenue generator or attract big TV ratings.

I dunno I think it would def be a ratings draw. Didn't they say all star voting is way up this year. Seems like interest might be up.
And I think it mitigates the risk of star players catching covidn while on vacation.
