even if it's not intentional I like that it's a flagrant now. get the players out of that habit.

He couldn’t even take the Baby Lakers to the playoffs. He’s not taking Wiggins, Oubre, Paschall and a rookie Wiseman to no second round minimum. You don’t even believe your post

He won MVP B2B (one of them unanimous) and was the best player on a championship team during that run. He had a legit claim at best player in the league. He is chasing Magic and has a case for 2nd best PG of all-time with all that he’s accomplished so far. He has time to keep moving up the all-time list but he’s in the 11-20 range right now. That is all based on previous accomplishments so him playing horrible in two games to start the 2020 season don’t affect the past IMO.

No one has called him GOAT PG (not eem @wavycrocket ). Ironically, that version of Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon would help Steph when Dray gets back because of the spacing they would provide and how they would fit into Kerr’s system

When was Steph called the GOAT or Top 5 player of all-time? He’s not even called the GOAT at his position. This is completely fabricated:lol:

The lengths these dudes are going to right now, man.....

In an equally competitive, other than Kobe, this is a stretch. The Russ argument that @atransta put forth is at least worth a listen, though.

Again, no one is putting Steph in LeBron’s tier all-time. Some might do it with Kobe depending on where they have him ranked but EYE would never do that. I think that’s putting Kobe way too low or Steph way too high (they’re probably doing the former)

As a overall player he was never better or as good as Bron or KD.

Man got by Tatum with the clock winding down with no issue. **** bananas

Kevin wasn't hurt. He just wanted to take time to get his head together.

Brooklyn looking imposing right now. That run was just a star power run.

He put up 30PPG on 50/45/90 splits and won a unanimous MVP on a 73-9 team that just came off a championship. Not necessarily saying I would agree but I would have had to entertain arguments that he’s the best player in the league if someone wanted to make it 🤷‍♂️
He had an all time great year individually and was on an all time great squad for sure but I remember most of the discussion at the time placing him ahead of KD and Bron by default and debating him being the best at his position ever too.

Its a bit like Kawhi after that All-Time playoff run with the Raps being considered the best right after. Both have had periods/stretches of looking like the best in the world under favorable conditions at one point but time has eventually reset the discussion in favor of the other 2 imo.
