So is Whiteside going to get bought out as well, they don’t need him in Sac-Town. Also, Ainge could always kick the tires on Thabeet. Hasheem Thabeet that is.

I don’t think a big is going to help Boston do anything. Tatum/ brown gotta keep getting better. Kemba declining is hurting them more than their big depth

I want to say this is easier said than done for a 27 year old looking to get his last big bag. Folks like BroSizzle are talking about him playing him the Dwight or Javale role...they played 19 and 17 MPG, respectively. I don’t see a dude looking to get cashed out this summer being happy with that which may lead to him being extra during his 20-22MPG.

The concern shouldn’t be taken lightly IMO.

I had that same line of thinking initially, but there’s a pretty easy fix if Drummond doesn’t fall in line and that’s to not play him. Vogel’s not going to play someone who’s hurting the team. And if Drummond pouts about it, won’t matter much. Too many vets on that team for Andre Drummond to torpedo the locker room.

Think he realizes that helping the Lakers get a ring with solid contributions will help with his next contract as much as putting up bigger numbers on a worse team.

Then you send his *** home

The opportunity cost was 0

This isn't something that isn't discussed before he shows up either

absolutely. Some of your cohorts only watch one team. You and amitt got more than one channel. I respect it. I’m furthering the discussion.
Thigh-bull could make all defense but I doubt it this year. He has the stats, not the PT

Tobias could be a sneaky pick for 2nd team

Thybulle is still my son tho.

lawdog1 lawdog1 SneakerProSr. SneakerProSr. You’re both right about that. The other thing that’s less of a concern but comes to mind with Drummond is this belief everyone has that he’s going to put on the Purple and Gold be able to put up 20 and 10 EASILY, if needed.

The way I look at it, the Lakers need it now with Bron and AD out but his 20/10 basketball leads to losses so that doesn’t help. AD and Bron come back so you’re asking him to play the Dwight or Javale role. Cool. Those guys put up 8/7 and 6/6 respectively.

So I’d like to just get some feedback...we have heard a lot about role expectations for Drummond but more specifically, what are folks thinking in terms of both playing time and output (stats)? We were told Marc would put up 10/10 before the season and we’ve seen how that panned out so I’m just trying to get a prediction for Drummond.

Even as hideous as Minnesota played last night against Houston

Orlando can catch them for odds for finishing in the bottom 3, once the Timberwolves get back Russell, and you just feel like with Towns-Edwards-DLo-Beasley they’re gonna luck into some games even with the hard schedule

Orlando 4.5 GB from the Timberwolves, who have 26 games to go.

Y'all owing GSW a top 3 protected pick will probably mean sitting everyone if necessary (might not be necessary lol)

Imagine if Bos had actively pursued signed Dwight Howard in the offseason instead of Thompson. And imagine if Drummond or Aldridge chose to go there instead.

Kemba
Fournier
Brown
Tatum
Drummond/Aldridge

Howard, RWilliams, Smart, Pritchard, GWilliams all of a sudden makes them a lot more formidable

Theis, Kanter, Thompson are all not high caliber enough to hold down the 5 spot which is why Boston isn't anywhere near the picture. It's def not because Tatum or Brown or Kemba need more work lol, these dudes been ready for prime time.

The real reason Bos aint a real title contender is because of the makeup of their front court. They also lack a legit starting center

they would still be a low assist team with depth issues on the wing. Can’t count Fournier because he hasn’t played a game yet. their two best players are 23. You don’t compete for titles that young.

A big isn’t getting them past Miami, Brooklyn. Remains to be seen how they match up with the bucks and the 6ers but again, Dwight doesn’t help them.

I like Theis but I didn't really like Bradsizzle playing the Theis/Tristan lineups all the time.
That's cause BradSizzle had no other options lol.

Substitute Dwight and LMA, let's say, for Theis/Thompson and it's likely you seeing multiple bigs in the lineup with Tatum and Brown full time.

Bos ain't winning no chip with a lineup made up of 5 combo guards and 5 forwards bro
