what I’m trying to take away is that if he was worth a #2 pick and if he can be a dominant big man in the future or if his ceiling is to be a dominant rim runner who can hit occasional jumpers.
I’m not sure why you think you can deduce that either way based on this season, for a 19 year old big man who didn’t play in college.
 
Nightmare rookie season for Wiseman.

I’m not saying an injury is ever a good thing, but a meniscus tear is not that severe, relatively speaking and Weisman had already played more games in a single season than ever in his life before. May not be the worst thing in the world for him to just be able to watch for a while, with no pressure on him.
 
I can’t help but wonder what this hawks teams record might’ve been if Nate was the coach from the start of the season
