Yea, don't get me wrong Russ's numbers look good but we know who/what he is at this point. I respect the energy/effort but, it is RW no matter how many ways you flip it.They'll end up drafting Franz ****ing Wagner...Beal's going to force a trade and ****** will be stuck with "Mr. 100% effort"
I hate it here.
Again, no discrediting what he has done but this team isn't good and winning wasn't what they needed this year,

Wall hadn't played in 2 years. The last time he played..they were an 8th seed. Beal by himself last year went into the bubble a 9 seed. Without him they fell to 10th.

That's completely ignoring how much better the "others" were on the '17-18 Wall team compared to the current Wizards team. They had Porter shooting 45%, Oubre, and Morris. This team is basically Westbrook, Beal, Rui, and a random assortment of g-league players

Everything you said is going to get overlooked. Not discrediting any players involved but the Wizards are really treading water in the worst way.
Come up off Beal (hopefully from a lotto team, we’re all thinking Minny pick depending how things shake out this year), let Russ be Russ for a full year, have your pick + the pick from Beal trade, trade Russ as an expiring or maybe buy him out for 2022-2023, have your lotto pick + hopefully others accumulated through trading Russ and Beal in 20223.

Albeit for different reasons, both the Lakers and Celtics need to be concerned. No shame in that given how COVID and injuries have affected them.

Wizard are a great story because they’ve overcome COVID to still have a worse record than the Celtics. But the Celtics, who have been harder hit by COVID and injuries are trash. Makes sense.
