Just hold him to the same standards yall hold everyone else to.

I know most of it ain't serious but some folks legit be mad about his existence

Who don't get criticized though?

I've seen Kobe brought up twice to deflect from Luka. It's folks on here that hated Kobe til the day he passed, he never got a pass for anything.

KG is still called a fake tough guy. Boogie, Sheed, Rodman, who else we wanna bring up? All of e'm got criticized. Tim Duncan even would get called out for crying too much.

This lil criticism of Luka is small **** compared to what other players dealt with. This is why I said his hardcore fans act like he's guaranteed to win chips because if they can't handle this small criticism they in for it for real.

I don’t watch lotta wizards games but listening to these guys describe westbrook, games must be in emotional roller coaster

The 5.0 :smokin

Luka has one more grace year after this one. Last year was his big coming out party (1st team all-NBA and moderate playoff success). This year has been somewhat up and down but he's gotten it together.

Luka It's still in that period in his career where he's not playing with high expectations. No one expects the Mavs to compete or even make the second round. Next year will be a big image defining season for him.
The expectations game is always funny to me. People slander dudes like Dame for a lack of playoff success when he's never been on a roster that was built for playoff success.

There's a chance Luka's staring down the barrel of the same gun career-wise - at least early on - right now.

A lot of going to depend on how this offseason and the next one shake out from a front office standpoint. They got some decisions to make and it's probably going to be the next two years that determine if Luka is here for the long haul or if he's gonna be the next guy demanding a trade and looking elsewhere.

Realistically right now they're a true, legit second all star-level guy away from being a semi-legitimate contender. KP's talent says he should be that, but the roller coaster of health and the apparent chemistry issues with Luka aren't gonna let that happen.

it all comes down to media narrative. people are slandering Dame while he practically killed the OKC trio in the playoffs.

Wizard are a great story because they’ve overcome COVID to still have a worse record than the Celtics. But the Celtics, who have been harder hit by COVID and injuries are trash. Makes sense.

Consistent with the double standards on here.

You have to consider the sources of these awful takes on here. Dudes be thinkin with their ***** and not with their heads.

In my opinion there plently of valid reasons to slander Luka.

Honestly yall don't watch him night in and night out but as great as he is dude does **** that drives me crazy and hurts the team.

But I don't see any of those criticisms here, it's just Kendrick Perkins level analysis.

Yall talking about leading the league in techs which is something multiple greats of done and in the 20 years I've been on this message board I've never seen mentioned as a negative.

Buddy is 72% from the line and has bricked multiple bigs ones and we talking about techs and why he isn't labeled as a thug.

Dame is a great player but by now, pretty much everyone knows the Blazers are just a playoff placeholder. Luka and Dallas still have another season before we write them off. Unicorn’s health basically determines how far they go, but I would say with EVERYONE on that team healthy Dallas is top-4 in the west

What if I told you that Damian Lillard and the Blazers were a #3 seed in 2018.....and got swept by the Pelicans in the first round. And he averaged 18/4/4 on 35/30/88 splits?

Y’all “roster watch”....Waaaaay to much in hindsight. Anthony Davis had Nikola Mirotic as his 3rd option in the playoffs. Averaging 19ppg. Where is he now?

Dame is a dawg. He’s escaped this somehow, due to likeablity.

I think the difference may be that the other greats did it later in the career. As his superstar status grows and he has more success, perhaps he may become more entitled and be even worse. I'm speculating but I also can't really recall how Kobe, CP3, KG, etc. were acting in their first three years.

Luka and Porzingis ever making any noise together with KP carrying a heavy load is pretty much a wrap already.

I've defended KP more than I should but it is what is it is at this point.

The team is better without him. That's not even a hot take, our winning percentage without him is better and the eye test matches.

KP is a solid stretch big who thinks he's a superstar and he just ain't.
