That he’s not better than Delonte and Juan? I don’t think so at all

Putting Delonte & Juan as “worst prospects” from the “dmv area” to hit the league is flat out wrong. One, they aren’t from the same area. Juan is a Bmore product.

Two....they’ve been waaaaaaaay worse “prospects” that hit the league From the area. Like, the amount of basketball players that area produces is absurd. And there are LEVELS to it.

Off the top of my head, a ***** like Sam Young is from there, and people don’t even know

edit* even forgot about Thomas Robinson. Or Demarr Johnson

Oh I was only agreeing that Dixon and West were better prospects. Their college accolades and where they were drafted tell that. Y’all BMore and DMV dudes are wayyyyy more knowledgeable about where dudes rated as actual prospects than I am. Quinn Cook actually was pretty highly rated coming out of school. I remember he wanted the UNC offer bad.

Them dudes don’t matter and you know it. Quinn Cook catches a lot of unnecessary smoke for no other reason than having success at multiple levels despite not being a great player. My post wasn’t to downplay Juan and Delonte, but to put Quinn where he belongs in the DMV talent pool.

How you gonna mention the Friendly legend without posting his All-Met pic. With Jeff Green in the back looking like the physical embodiment of everything Prince Georges County, MD.

Mans looking he spends his weekends trying to catch folk slipping up at PG Plaza.

Also wild, Joe Alexander is from the graduating class too.

Is that Rudy Gay to the left of Jeff Green?

I mean...as far as physical tools and everything goes...he’s on the low end. 6 ft guard with limited athletic ability. But at every level....from AAU on up...he’s been a winner and cooked dudes and got it out the mud. It helps he played for storied programs at every level. But at every level...by the time it was “his turn” he’s more than shown he was a rotational guy.

AAU, High School, College, G-League, NBA. Won at all those levels and did his part. He’s a guy that “belongs whether people like to admit it or not. Add to the fact hes likeable, on some Roger Mason Jr ****. So the connections are a huge plus.

Yall not exaggerating when it comes to the amount of talent they produce
Yeah, I don't even follow HS BBall from the area anymore but it is a scary amount of talent between the DMV and BMore areas.

Also, it is the reason why the University of Maryland should be ******* ashamed of themselves for only having one National Championship in the past two decades.

UMD has been dead to me since leaving the ACC.

Quinn Cook is even better than Nolan Smith. Same area. Same program. Pretty much the same family even.

Cook better than cats like Dajuan Summers and Joey Dorsey from our side too :lol …I wouldn’t put Quinn in the lower half of NBA dudes from the wider area at all, that’s reserved for the ones that barely played a year or 2 :lol
