I JUST had Ting for the first time in ages three weeks ago. It was so much better than I remember.

LaMelo and Hairston just wanted to get home to their wives. And Bridges just isn't that good outside of dunking, although his 67%ts on paper might suggest otherwise. They had Sabonis looking like Shaq meets Dirk meets his Daddy before he got old. Charlotte ended the season looking like cheeks. Miles was fresh off the Rona. Lamelo didn’t look good when he came back. Handwriting was on the wall. It just didn’t say a 40 point loss

My prediction for tonight is that Lakers come out a bit sloppy early with missed shots and turnovers, leading to the Dubs jumping out to a 10-12 point lead. Lakers rally and end up winning by double-digits.

I expected at least a close game between Charlotte and Indiana - not a damn blowout. It's even crazier when you consider the issues that Indiana's players and coaching staff had just last week.
It's possible that their nerves were shot and I hope they learn from this experience.

Funny you say that because my mom, who’s a lawyer, got an almost perfect score on the LSAT. When I started studying for it, she said “you should do even better than I did”.
Although I pretty much rejected that idea outright because my mom is smarter than me and a harder worker, I think starting out with that baseline expectation level may have contributed to the challenges I created for myself with that test. Thanks, Mom.
