I think something centered around Rubio, Beasley and a pick would make sense for a Simmons trade. Philly might have to add their pick at this point though.

It's Ben's contract that makes it hard to trade him. I don't think there's be too many teams who'd be willing to eat 35 mil a year for someone who's dead weight on offense.

The fact that he doesn't want to change roles and wants to be a point guard is another deterrent too. There's talk that the reason Butler left was cuz Ben was *****ing about playing too much off the ball lol

Happy Lottery Day to the fans in it tonight. May the luck fall on your team to get the #2 Pick behind the Houston Rockets.

That was the actual reason. Jimmy wanted to run PnR with Ben but Brett and Ben didn’t want to and we never practiced it. But come the Toronto series Brett decided he wanted to do it and Ben got upset. Y’all know the rest

In addition to Booker, there are seven others still alive in the postseason who are a part of the 57-man pool of top-level NBA talent from which Team USA is selecting its Olympic squad. They are Booker’s teammate Chris Paul; the Milwaukee Bucks’ Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and Jrue Holiday; the LA Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard (who has an injured knee) and Paul George; and the Atlanta Hawks’ Trae Young. Colangelo said Team USA is prepared to charter a “special flight” for a few of those players to join coach Gregg Popovich’s American bunch in Tokyo. Out of that group, Chris Paul and Paul George would be the favorites to get spots, if they commit.

There is a 6-10 post player in the American pool with the skill set of a floor spacer who also is a dedicated defensive rebounder with a penchant for whipping the ball ahead to streaking guards and wings. He also already has a gold medal to his name. And, it just so happens, is stuck in a three-year rut that is easily the worst of his career.

Multiple sources said Cleveland Cavaliers’ former All-Star Kevin Love was interested in another Olympics run, and Popovich was interested in bringing him aboard. Whether Love ultimately steps forward, or USAB even extends him an invitation, remains to be seen.

If you're Chauncey and you've got offers from Boston and Portland, where do you go?

Lottery really snuck up on you.

Interested in whose Fade for Cade campaign was ultimately successful.

so after YEARS of Lillard saying he wants to stay in POR now the consensus is he may demand a trade?

Does Portland look like they’re winning anytime soon? Wanting to win is going to outweigh staying.

Saying “I want to be here for the rest of my career” always turns into a trade within 1-2 years if you haven’t already won a title. Steph saying that is different from Dame, Harden, and probably Mitchell with a couple more playoff losses.
