Kevin Love + a pick for Ben Simmons makes perfect sense to me.

Cavs get an all-star all-defensive player locked into a long term contract in exchange for a disgruntled veteran who’s giving them nothing and toxic in the locker room.

Sixers get a PF who’s willing to shoot the 3, has championship experience, Simmons salary off the books earlier, a pick for cheap talent

win-win

K Love and Sexton.

That pick ain't doing nothing for a win now team.

I remember right after being drafted, been Simmons was questioned about his shooting. His response was "I don't have to shoot, and I never had to."

That line said it all. I believe SAS sources in this case.

Imagine getting to the NBA as a lottery pick getting a max contract and your a person that "doesn't work"

Incredible.

Ehhh there have been plenty of players who haven't worked on their games and have been labeled lazy.

It's all relative, of course every player in the NBA is working out and getting shots up to some extent, how hard is Ben Simmons working relative to other NBA superstars?

You go to your job and everyone is working, but some are definitely working harder, more efficiently and more effectively than others.

Michael Vick was the first overall pick and dang near won MVP and he admitted to being lazy when he played with the Falcons. If you're physically gifted enough, you can be lazy and get very far lol.

Even during his time in Atlanta, I'm sure Michael Vick was going to practice, looking at film and getting his throws in but was he going to extra mile to be great or was he saying "I'm more physically gifted than 99% of the players in this league and that will make me a star?"

This.

Sixers won’t move Ben for anything less than a guy like Beal.

it’s more likely they keep him and try to add a guy like Lowry. Or try to move Tobias for a guy like CJ.

im a big Tobias fan but I think he is more likely to get dealt than Ben. Great season, value is high. Trade him for a Lavine or CJ and move Ben to the 4

Giving Ben the Draymond role is key. Also, Doc is so lucky Ben had this meltdown because he deserves to be on the hot seat too.

can you please kill any Kevin Love for Simmons talk? You’ve been saying it since game 7 and no one is biting.
