Dudes are talking about a guy who just turned 25, one of the more durable players, is one of the better defenders in the league & has been the second best player on a consistent playoff team for some years..... and somehow a mid first rounder & some role players are an overpay ?
there's a huge grey area between being a #2 on a championship contender & being a high paid role player.
To think that ben can't even get back a late lottery pick & a young prospect is ridiculous, Ben is completely worth that to a rebuilding team, or a team who is trying to consistently make the playoffs

What evidence has there been of this though? He's put up the same numbers every season and the Sixers fortunes have only really ebbed based on how Embiid's health goes. I just don't see without vast improvement in his game he isn't making the Cavs, Pistons or any other of them bottom 5 teams playoff contenders.

He can definitely help a team, but that team has to basically be built perfectly around him because of his weaknesses. Needs to play with 4 floor spacers and at least one other really good ball handler. He’s not making some trash team all of the sudden be better. He’s Draymond.

I’m low on Ben but nope. I’d rather keep him than do any of those as Philly.

1. He could’ve played his rookie year in December. Team held him out
2. He injured his knee and missed 4 PO games *insert Owen Wilson “wow”
3. 57 games and the season was cut short. Yea he did have the weird back injury
4. Played 58/72 games. 80%. Missed a week because of Covid protocols twice
