As great as the Lakers have been, I feel like folks are sleeping on the Clippers which sounds weird to say. They too are 12-4 with PG going for 25/6/6 on 52/50/92 and Kawhi putting up 25/5/6 on 50/42/90 and I haven’t heard a damn word about them I know it’s early, cupcake schedules, it’s just the regular season, etc but those two are looking like who everyone thought they would be right now.

Edit: Have two guys on the same team averaged 20PPG and gone 50/40/90? That’s insane.

Agreed. More worried about em this year than last year.
Nobody is going to give em props until they do it in the playoffs but that makes the regular season easier.

Never really understood why a bunch of folks thought there would be some big dropoff with them coming into this season. The Nuggets series is one of if not the biggest choke jobs in NBA history, but they were really, really good in the regular season last year despite injuries/load managing/not playing with eachother a ton/etc. The team didn't change a ton. Wasn't really any reason to expect much to be different this season. Playoffs might be a different story though. Again.

theyve been up by 20 or more in 10 of their 16 games with wins over the Lakers blazers nuggets Suns. They’ve been straight dominant.

their starters are blowing the doors off teams and they’ve got like 6 guys shooting40% or better from 3. Regression is coming with their shooting but they’ve allowed PG and Kawhi to make all the plays and it’s working. 80% of their 3’s have been wide open.The Kennard and Ibaka upgrade have been special, especially Nico. They look the part way more so than they did last year.

Them and the Lakers are in a class of their own right now out west with Utah knocking.

For better or worse people aren't buying it till the playoffs.

Same with the Bucks. We all know both those teams would win a ton of RS games, but they aren't gonna get the props till they do some damage in the post-season.

They can play better. Despite being a great shooting team from 3 they’re only middle of the pack in attempts. They can stand to shoot more 3’s.

They can play with much more pace too and they just now are starting to figure out their bench rotation, which tanked their defense early.
