I just saw this year's Hot Lava's. Disappointed. Nike can do way better on materials and execution.
Feel you on this! Bought a couple of pairs the last weeks (not all nikes besides the lavas, jordan 3s + 5s) and not one pair was flawless..maybe i'm just to critical, but it looks like it's quantity over quality! Some paint & clue failures, it's just annoying.

As for the Grand Slams, does anyone have any sense of the number of shoes produced for each run? It feels like the number for each would be below 1000 (at least for the USO and the most recent Wimbledons). Am I way off?
