this sucks but I guess it happens. a pair of birch II's I bought on fleabay were like that, I figured they were a b-grade/outlet pair

That really sucks. I had the same problem on my white '19 pair.
Luckily, no issues on my black '20 pair.

I got really lucky. Walked into Nike... saw them on display... asked for my size... minutes later, tried them on... paid for them at the counter... all within 10mins. It was like an era-accurate sneaker shopping experience.

What I don’t get is that most of the sneaker blogs that discussed the release also wrote that they would release Spring 2020 so I’m still holding out hope. In the meantime, I bought a resale pair. Not taking chances.
