I know this is nearly impossible to ask out of Nike but if they ever release yet another lava 2 it would be nice if they stopped playing around with the clown toe box (although '16 pairs were a bit better)

I just want them to get the lava print on the swoosh and the shoe to match one another. But yes they did make the toe box better with the last couple of releases. The materials on the 08 pair were the closets to the og though.

The question will be is Nike going to do it right and make a non-visible air sole in it or will it be visible and play it off as some sort of “PE”.

If they retro I would guess that they will use the visible air since they already have the molds available. I'm ok with it if it means they will finally retro them. I obviously prefer the og but I'll take whatever they would give us at this point.
