🎾 Official Nike Tennis (and other brands as well) Thread 🎾

What is the actual difference between the Vapor Pro line and the Vapor 9, 10, 11, 12 line? I never really understood?
It's a little murky in the last few years, everyone please chime in if you have better insights:

- V9 replaced by V9.5
- V9.5 replaced by VX (all of these had heel zoom, and latest design/tech in uppers/midsole, low to the ground, lightweight, speed feel)
------ diversion happend here ------
- VP1 - The traditional Vapor feel moved to the VP1 (same outsole as VX, new fit frame)
- V11 - The next gen newest tech moved to all new V11 (although bulkier than traditional Vapor feel, almost more like a lighter weight Cage. This started most of the confusion as the marquee Vapor was not looked at as the "players shoe" (only a few pro used them).

- VP1 replaced by VP2 (redesign, Zoom moved to forefoot, but still aimed at the traditional Vapor feel, most Vapor user/Pros preferred this to the V11)
- VP2 updated to the VP3 (same midsole, new upper)
- V11 replaced by V12 (unknown on how it feels compare to previous, but spy images suggest a lighter weight updated tech version with traditional Vapor feel rather than the bulky V11)

Line Up Differences:
VP2, 3s - Traditional feel, forefoot zoom, but V2/V3 seems to move to a takedown compared to V11/V12's tech. Feels low to the ground, slipper fit, lightweight, speed.

V11s - support feel, tech forward midsole (translucent TPU sidewalls), forefoot zoom; these things are bricks (but I like them!). They positioned it at the latest in speed and lightweight, but it really doesnt feel like that, feels blocky and less flexible.

V12s - Will know more when they come out, but seems to be a latest tech but with traditional Vapor slipper feel and true successor to the VX.

Already announced by MrBackhand over at Talk Tennis. For a guy who’s always bleating on about being given credit for supplying information you really don’t practice what you preach…
you are a JOKE! i posted it for other NT members who are not on TT.

it's a shame clowns like you ruin it for everyone.

Ad hominems aside please acknowledge your sources in future; there are numerous examples on here of you blaspheming others for not doing so when you post information - nefariously I might add, as far as Nike is concerned - from their catalogues.

any info on these??? would be a great casual shoe. looking for year release other colorways and DS pairs

Whoa what.
Loved the OG HyperDunk.

Hyperdunk 09 details on the new vapor chassis (also gives heavy Vapor 6 vibes overall with the flyknit) is a recipe to take my $$$ next year. Maybe they're bringing back the combo/hyrbrid shoes from the Vapor 9.5/X line (vapor foamposite, vapor air max, vapor Aj3, etc.)? Even though it's weird because they clearly aren't that invested in tennis from a product perspective but perhaps there is renewed energy somehow.

💯baby! Vapor 9.5\X all day. The air max 95 and AJ3s were incredible. Like 6 pair minimum if they release those again, only issue is they’ll be all hard court soles but whateve. These hypersmashes look interesting 🤔 baby. If they light weight we on

Hoping that them having #1 and #2 locked up for many years to come will intrduce some god damn innovation in the tennis lineup.
