'13 Reasons Why' Thread (Original Netflix Series)

The moral of this season: you can get away with a bunch of crap/murder as long as you have friends to back you up

yeah this season was way over the top, trying to touch on as many topics as they could in a single season. I was thinking the whole time, how the heck is Clay not getting into any trouble for this?!

As long as you’re white and priveleged*

Just finished. Honestly **** ending to a series. The Justin crap made me more emotional than I would like to admit

I’m only halfway but I doubt I’ll continue. Season 1 was excellent but afterwards it went way downhill for me.

Despite all the preaching this show does, the whole main cast belongs in jail on charges of conspiracy, lying to investigators, obstruction of justice, murder/manslaughter, ... etc etc. The list of serious crimes goes on and on.

The show tries to pass off that crimespree as sympathetic and the characters continue to sit on their moral high horse

Really turned Clay into the Joker. Season was really bad. The worst of all of them.

I think they should of just stopped at Season 1 and let people make up their own ending. I didn't like last season either especially Ani's character

Just finished the first episode.

I'm surprised and I'm not surprised that Alex is bi. I'm very confused on where they're trying to go with Clay and his psychological ****. Is it PTSD? Is it schizophrenia? I'm not a fan of Ani, never was. She was always very sus. Not sure how I'm going to like this season.

Jess also gets on my damn nerves. I feel bad for what happened to her, and she's strong for working through it, but she's just toxic now.
