2008 Game of the Year.....Prototype.....Next to MGS4 that is

Coming out for both the 360 and the PS3...this game has been in the making for a long time now. I knew about since last summer, but didn't know too muchabout it. It will release sometime during the 3rd quarter of the year. So it should be awesome.

Enh GTA IV will sell more and probably get more hype but MGS4 will be the better game imo. The storyline is and will be unparalleled. It's likecomparing Lost to Heroes lol

Ehh, I haven't had as much fun with a Metal Gear game than I've had with a Grand Theft Auto game in the past. I guess it's all preference. Timewill tell.

One thing we can all agree on is we've got a lot to look forward to.

Back to Prototype, I've heard about it a lot, but the first video gave me some more insight on what they're going for. Looks like a great game, butI'm interested in seeing how they make it challenging.

From the looks of it, you're going to be this invincible guy just tearing through everyone. I need more storyline.

True. GTA has near-unlimited replay value. Sometimes just driving around and causing mayhem is more than enough fun.

But the gaming experience is nowhere near the one provided by Metal Gear Solid.

i actually posted this a long time ago in the PS3 thread, i thought it would have potential from all those trailers and interviews but, the actual demodidn't impress me. if they polished it, it would be good i guess.

No they didn't. IGN is somewhat credible, but it's all about opinion.

Honestly, the as far as a gaming experience goes, MGS is always going to be top notch, but I'm just going to have more fun with a game like GTA IV.

IDk its just too tough to claim GTA 4 will out do MGS4...but the people who did say it is about preference is correct.
