Westbrook is probably a nightmare to guard, but I think curry needs to be at least mentioned as the 2nd best PG in the league

24 ppg 9 apg 4 rbg.

While he's an awesome pg and player, he turns it over far too often and is a below average finisher. He scores almost everything off of jumpers, making it really hard for his brand of basketball to be effective come playoff time.

Steph Curry shooting jumpers isnt like everyone else shooting them though. I wouldnt care if he had a 9:1 jumpshot:layup ratio.

I agree with steph turning the rock over like crazy, but Russ is at 3.8 himself. And he doesn't have the court vision curry does.

Steph needs to watch the Steve Nash tape of finishing.

:lol Kobe just cooked Tony Allen but he's washed right? According to NT..
FYI, Damian Lillard is older than John Wall.

Historically, it's rare for an older player who is worse than a younger player, to end up being better. Wall was better than Lillard at age 18, 19, 20, 21, etc and the trend will likely continue

Is 2 months is a big difference
I said that because he said "Lillard could surpass John Wall someday" as if Wall was the older player.

Wall is pretty much better now, and he hasn't even touched his potential because he doesn't have a jumpshot. If he develops even 1/2 of Lillard's shooting ability he will probably be the best or second best point guard.

The way teams play him now, they still give him the open three or elbow jumper. Even though he's shooting them a little bit better, that's still what defenses want him to do rather than driving to the basket. Once he starts hitting those shots he could average like 22-23 ppg, to go with ~10 assists

Age has nothing to do with it. If we assume wall is "better" than Lilliard today, one could conceivably claim that one day Lilliard will surpass wall. Not sure what age has to do with that claim

So steph not a below average finisher at the rim now?
Curry is a great finisher to my eyes.

I don't have the stats or anything, but he's really good at floaters and making all types of crazy spinning layups. I would surprised if the numbers have him as a subpar finisher

Steve nash was peyton manning in a basketball jersey, steph not making dudes look better then they really are, & steph has terrible shot selection even tho you can live with that

Again, steph ain't even in his prime yet. Go ahead and check Steve Nash's first four years in the league compared to steph's. I'll wait

Well Wall is better now, with (in most people's opinion) more room to improve.

If he was older, you could say that he's closer to his peak and will eventually get passed. For example, Mike Conley may be considered better than Lillard right now but he's close to his peak whereas Lillard is on his way up.

But Lillard and Wall are basically the same age, and both are on the way up, except Wall is already starting out higher. Sure there's the chance Lillard could eventually be better than Wall, but that would be more likely if Wall was already 28 or something and Lillard was 23.

Steph Curry doesnt rebound now? Hes 7th in rebounding amongst PGs and he finished 5th last year. IDK what more you want from him in terms of rebounding the basketball.

Of course it would be more likely, I'm just saying there isn't anything crazy about saying Lilliard could end up being better than wall
