Tony Allen Signed Shoe from "Chris Paul" Game Nov. 18 vs. LA Clippers
Listed for charity
Left shoe worn by Tony Allen 9/18/13 vs. Clippers

Tony Allen’s infamous ‘Chris Paul’ shoe donated for charity auction
Shoe to bring Christmas to Youth Villages’ kids

During the Memphis Grizzlies’ highly successful November road trip to California, guard Tony Allen was suspended and fined after an incredible defensive move put his left shoe uncomfortably close to 2013 All-Star MVP Chris Paul’s face. Allen’s infamous accidental-kick was ruled a Flagrant Foul 2, and he was ejected from the game. Allen quickly rebounded from the accident and issued his apologies to Paul.

To celebrate the holiday season, Allen – the NBA’s Season of Giving Ambassador for the Memphis Grizzlies – is donating the renowned shoe to Youth Villages, a national nonprofit organization headquartered in Memphis. Youth Villages will auction the shoe online as part of an effort to raise $15,000 to buy presents for children receiving help on Youth Villages’ Memphis residential campuses and group homes.

“I’m glad that the shoe will be creating something special for kids in Memphis. Everyone deserves to have a Christmas to remember. I’m glad I can be a part of their memories,” Allen said.

with the thunder currently 20-4 (good enough for the 2nd best record in the league) and winners of 15 of the their last 16 games..

i thought it would be a good time to reflect upon mr. bill simmons comments on the team..

Why do you care so much about what Bill Simmons thinks?

U know that lotto was rigged right?

If that trade doesn't happen, no chance the Clips get that #1 pick

That's what I say to Clippers fans who insist that "we traded the No. 1 pick for Mo Williams." First off, it wasn't just for Mo Williams. It was Mo and the right to be rid of Baron Davis, which was huge. Second, just as a matter of logic and statistics, there's no basis for saying the Clippers for sure would have wound up 1 if they kept the pick.

It's criminal that King's management brought Gay to the Kings because if they were able to reel in a guy who could change the game defensively and keep Vasquez then the Kings would have been seriously a coach away from a playoff run next year.

i dont care THAT much.. as long as my team/GM isnt making rash decisions in the same manner that simmons suggests this stuff, i'm cool

i find it entertaining.. but he is given a forum, which he uses

and finding things he has previously said, is easy.. and given his present stance on some things, it's funny to go back and read/watch what he had previously said

In the end, he'll still be right. The middle/end of OKC's rotation does not have the chops to actually win a title this year or next barring trade(s).

**** is entertainment dog, so what Bron dapped PG? Y'all acting like Magic and Zeke didn't kiss before games :lol

MJ bought all NBA stars in to work out and hang out during the summer especially during Space Jam. Take it even further back, Wilt used to have dinner at Bill Russell crib with his fam before games, even in the playoffs (imagine how much food his wife had to cook though)

All these dudes in the NBA been buddy-buddy miss me with current players carrying on tradition. Bron still stomped PG's heart when it matter, guess he still doesn't have that competitive edge cause he acknowledged another guy coming into his own.

Rockets/Warriors have a little rivalry brewing.
The Lakers Vs. The entire League......

You here those "BEAT LA" chants everywere they go.

Even with the team they currently have. Everyone else is always trying to prove a point and playing extra hard against them.

The fans don't like the Lakers, but I'm not sure that that's a players rivalry.

If only today's players despised each other like Jordan despised Barkley and Ewing and Magic.

way off.

Vasquez is not very good. and his defense is atrocious. he is slow as hell, that will never change. glad hes gone

The Kings don't need a coach, Mike Malone knows what he's doing, according to people with the Warriors organization, he was pretty much the coach of that team last year. as you can see, they aren't quite as successful so far this year without him.

and your telling me that Vasquez, McLemore, Derrick Williams, Cousins, and a defensive game changer is a playoff team?

The fans don't like the Lakers, but I'm not sure that that's a players rivalry.

I think for the Clippers it is and, at least this year, the Lakers feel the same way. You could tell in that opening night game that the Lakers players really wanted to win it.

Please explain

In the playoffs you only go 7-8 deep.. Okc currently plays 10 guys 10 + mins per

Every trade suggested is multiple players for a player.. Which was/is based on guys being inexperienced or simmons lack of knowledge on said players

Right now the only guards I care about: Westbrook, lamb and Reggie

And Forwards/centers: kd, ibaka, collison, Adams and pj3

That's 8

Then there is thabo, fisher and Perkins.. And Roberson (who has started in place of thabo when he was out)

If anyone is getting traded it's thabo
